I Tried the MOST VIEWED Viral Recipes (This Was Delicious)

I tried five viral recipes from around the internet… including edible pottery mugs, crispy Spam lattices and a Ben & Jerry’s inspired dessert stack that was absolutely ridiculous.

I somehow turned my fridge into a pottery kiln.
Made Spam into edible hashtags.
And nearly lost the plot stacking brioche with ice cream and condensed milk.

Turning my fridge into a pottery kiln was not on my 2026 bingo card. More videos like this on the Barry tries playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfItiEY3o1msmCdkx49hQcmgh39L02lf5

Im no potter, but every time i've seen one use a wheel, they proper chuck the clay down on to the wheel, a full force through, i think that's what gets it to stick

We're four minutes in and I'm already yelling at Barry's dreadful pottery technique 🤣

The operative phrase is “ to throw pottery” so the way to get the “blob” to stick on the turntable is to literally throw it on the disk from directly above aka drop it forcefully then with damp hands cupped around the “blob” with the turntable rotating slowly try to centre it gently, gradually increasing the speed.

I’ve been an actual Ceramicist for 36 years. As soon as her said “ add water to the plate” I Knew you were doomed.😂😂
I was actually impressed that that little piece of equipment actually turned when pressure put on it. Of course then it walked all over the table then🙄.
Most people basically could use it anyway ( takes training ) so don’t feel bad.

Hotteok is Korean I believe, and the fillng is sweet and the dough is flour based.

Barry has made the phrase "lack of common sense" into an art form. How do you watch people do these things and then ignore everything they're doing?

Loved it as always, would be nice to get the recipe for the cheese stuffed potatoes.

I'd assume the "lattice" approach means to turn the item you are cutting 90 degrees. The bottom of the spam is going to have the same corrugation in the same direction. Though, I suppose if you did that we would not have seen a man confused about why a slice of something which literally just went through the gap in the slicer can go right through it again

Living the Barry Hugo dynamic. Keep him around.

Those potato patties would make awesome buns for a burger.

Watching you refuse to rotate the whole spam block was so painful

I have just found your channel. And I have to say, you are wonderfully, chaotically cack-handed! 😂 I love it.
