"A bit of inspiration", haha girl you are the most inspiring person I know of! My sister and niece literally has a saying about you that they say whenever she struggles with something along the lines of:
"What do we do when it's hard?" and she will answer "Do like Lucy Charles-Barclay!"
It's the most adorable thing in the world and I really hope you know how much of an impact you've made with your amazing story of resillience!

Congrats Lucy! I’d love to see you show up to some races locally, especially junior ones, to show the kids that anyone can be extraordinary! Champions aren’t born, they’re made through blood, sweat and tears

Hi Lucy! My wife and I are age-group IM athletes and have been following your ascendency. Barbara just commented, “Lucy is such an inspiration; her placing first at Kona is a validation that consistency and hard work pays off.” Barbara’s goal is to qualify for Kona, so thank you for role modelling excellence as well as niceness. (And we love your dogs!)

I watched every minute of that Kona race and I still well up looking at the finish line footage.

This was fun to see...especially Lucy getting down with a slice of pizza in a gorgeous dress! Reece looks so happy and proud. What a well deserved celebration! 🎉 ❤

Congratulations on your win Lucy! You so deserved it! I did my first half Ironman this year and I can truly say you’ve been one of my biggest inspirations for getting into triathlons! Thank you for always bringing humility to the sport - you have such an incredible personality that sets you apart from most. Hope to see you race in South Africa next year 🇿🇦.

Really enjoyed the video, so inspiring! Would love to see you racing IM 70.3 Kraichgau again. I live nearby but didn’t expect you racing there last year because of your last minute entry. Please come back here!🧜🏼‍♀️🧜🏼‍♀️🧜🏼‍♀️
