Guam's Forgotten Beach

In today's video, we are checking out another beach that I have yet to visit. If you didn't know, Next to Gun Beach is another secluded beach that is mostly accessible during low tide. You will find FaiFai Beach between it and Two Lovers' Point.

You can see old Guam ww2 relics, abandoned structures, tide pools with marine life, and endless ocean views within this stretch of coast line. I recommend you checking out this part of Guam if you haven't been here yet.

Thank you for the video. I was on Guam from 1949 to 1959 and would go to that beach with my neighbor friends to find shells when the tide was low. It was so much fun. My father would take us to swim at Tumon every Sunday. I would love to travel back to Guam sometime. It certainly has changed. Tumon was a jungle when we were there - no hotels or tourists. And we lived through many typhoons!

Thanks for the content! If your looking for octopus they usually hide them selves in a hole covering the entrance with shells

That cliff line train seems to be somewhat new. We didn’t know of it in the 70-80s. We just used to walk around the cliff in the ocean.

Wow. Born & raised in Guam, but I've never been there. Crazy thinking about it. I guess, I have my favorite beaches i go to by habit, never thought of exploring other beaches around Guam. I literally took my time for granted there. Going to check it out when I do revisit. Thanks for sharing this

Matt it's so nice you can go to the beach whenever you feel like it and will only takes you a short time. Here it will take me hours to drive 😂 The closest beach I can go to is Manila Bay but can't really swim there. Plus it's way too hot to go outside right now. It's scorching hot that feels like it's burning my skin. However it did rain Friday and Saturday which I thought the rainy season is back and wish. It is nice to live by the beach but you have to constantly worry when the typhoon season starts. Maybe the abandoned structure was hit by a typhoon and the owner didn't wanna rebuild? Take care always.

The structure that you saw there was a korean run island show in the 90s for korean tourists mainly

That path, wall, ladder and walkway were put in about 20-25 years ago to allow easier access for the beach resort that was operating there at the time. I think it was called Faifai Powder Beach Resort.
