the moment the coach played the odds and picked Hatteberg. the combination clicked into place

RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman

God so much emotions every time I watch this clip xD

This is one of those best movies for so many actors to include Joni Hill, Chris Pratt, Brad Pitt in so many other others what a great combination and it all comes together

Money Ball. It's in my top 5.

The lighting in the storeroom 3:00  is just as good as the lighting on the field. No wonder KC was so far behind; they had to adjust.

How can you not be romantic about baseball?

I love this movie.❤

I think the As won 20 straight.  But at any time if you were to say, “We’re going to win the next 20 in a row,” all things being equal with a 50-50 possibility each game, it’s a million-to-one shot.  Literally.  It would be interesting calculating the odds of any team in the MLB winning 20 in a row during a season as it gets more complicated.  I think each team has 143 chances to do it — games 1 through 143 in a 162-game season — and there are 30 teams so that’s 4290 chances.  I think this is right.  So it would take on average 244 years for it to happen once for any team assuming a 162-game season and 30 teams.  I haven’t double-checked my math and there might be issues with game overlaps too. But if I’m close it just shows how rare it is.

I used to work overnight security. When the a's were up 11 runs, i took a nap before my shift. I got up and turned the t.v on about 30 seconds before hatteberg's home run. I was thinking, no way! They came back to tie it. And then it happened! Such a great moment in time! 😊❤🎉

R.I.P Phillip Seymour Hoffman 🙏

“Moneyball” is the best sports movie ever.  I’ve watched it maybe five times which is rare because the most I usually ever consider watching a movie is twice, and that’s if I think I missed something.  But I read the book too and it’s really good.  They’re very different and the screenwriter did a great job on the adaptation because if you read the book you might say, “Great book!  But how do you make a movie from it?”  But my second favorite is probably “The Natural” as Robert Redford was, well, the Natural.
