I like how it used to be horny horror movies and shots, and now it’s Princess Diaries and tea 😂

"That girl's hair makes me feel like she's not loved."
DAMN! Nick roasted Lily. 💀

14:42 Fun Fact: Julie Andrews and Héctor created the romance between their characters it wasn't in the script. They presented their idea to the director Garry Marshall and he loved their chemistry so much he wrote it in the movie!!! 🎬

"Joe is king."

Ah, yes. The one thing all Princess Diary fans can agree upon, whole-heartedly. Joe is absolute King.

When she said ‘genovia will cease to exist as we know it’ she didn’t mean it’ll stop existing she meant there would be a new royal family which would cause a huge change in the government and culture after hundreds of years of their family ruling so it wouldn’t be the same as it is now (and she does actually have power it’s not like England)

27:31 'There is no country between France and Spain'. I think Andorra would like to have a word lmao

Every best friend character in this era had crazy hairstyles

13:40 Fun Fact: In her Audition, Anne accidentally fell off her chair and that's when they knew they had found their Mia Thermopolis. That's probably why they had her fall in the movie too!

reminder that those reporters were taking pictures of a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL naked. and those paper published it! doesn't matter that she had a towel

I personally don’t like the way that in the makeover scene it’s, curly hair = ugly/bad and straight hair = transformed/beautiful. I feel like they could’ve transformed her with her curly hair but put more life into it 😭

princess diaries 2 is even BETTER! please watch it!!

9:20 guys... painters study abroad. She probably went to a really good college that had programs for art students to study abroad. I have an amazing watercolorist friend in New York who did that in his college years. We have a print of a watercolor he did of my aunt on their trip to Germany. It's a thing😅 Honestly, I wish i had gone to a higher schooling to try to get in one of those programs.

You guys have to watch the second one!!

22:03 I know you didn't include it in the reaction but when she slipped on the stairs it was unscripted but Anne Hathaway played it off so well & it was so in line with Mia's character being clumsy that they kept it in the movie

“I am invisible and I’m good at it.”

“Hahaha middle child energy!” 😂😂 completely accurate as middle child.

fun fact there is actually a very small country between france and spain, but it’s called Andorra so i guess either they thought the name didn’t sound as good or just didn’t know it existed

Joe really is the best character 😂

Micheal’s character actually had more scenes but they were cut. I feel like If they were in the movie the relationship would feel more developed, but still cute pair. This is still one of my fave teen girl movies.

15:44 that scream is one of the funniest things i've seen in a movie
