Music Go Round Wisconsin // Off The Beaten Path EP. 40

In today's episode, we're traveling to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to visit Music Go Round Greenfield. Although Music Go Round may be a national chain, I'm a huge fan of the local feel and community based atmosphere you get when you visit this location. In addition, it's also the largest selection of drums in Wisconsin. From beginning budget options to high end custom choices, they have it all!

What an awesome shop. So good to see a bricks and mortar store thriving like this.
From this video it definitely doesn’t give out ‘chain store’ vibes.

I’ll usually hit the Greenfield store and then the Kenosha store along with Undigital drums on my way home to Chicago. Always my 1st go to for great cymbals and drum gear. Gabe turned me on to Chemistry and Turkish cymbals in like new condition at a fraction of the cost of Big name brands. Fantastic stores!

Hitting this place and then getting some custard and a burger at the Kopps around the corner is peak weekend activity

Love Music Go Round! Most of my gear over the last 20 years has come from my local Music Go Rounds in the Denver area. If I’m ever in the area, I will definitely come visit Gabe and the store!

Best shop in the area for sure. While I'm a guitar guy myself I took my son in for drums and Gabe got him hooked up and showed us the sets he would buy as a beginner, not the most expensive kits. You don't get that kind of service everywhere.

Been in that store so many times 😂 Even if I don't need something the hidden gems that occasionally come in make it impossible to pass up. I bought a 70's Zildjian A 22 for under $100. It has very minor keyholing and is my #1 rock ride. Its sustain is the best I've ever heard in person.

Man, all we have left in Canada is long and mcquade chain stores, and they primarily sell new. They have good rent to own and return policy, but very boring to shop at. This Musicgoround looks great. Better than browsing the classifieds. Did I see Mike leave with a blue onyx vintage rogers as a teaser?

Thanks for this video. Reminds me of good times when I was younger at a variety of local music stores. There is a Music Go Round close by so I think I need to pay them a visit.
