this series is a must watch for everyone who completed the whole series, it scratches that itch of all those loose plot threads to interweave into a full narrative that nearly transcends regular fanfictions into something that is too good to be not canon

honestly it was kinda funny how kristophs entire motivation in AJ:AA was just jealousy for wright and revenge for zak just because he wasn't appointed as zak's attorney, love it that there's more backstory now

I can’t believe it

It's been one year since the first episode of Lana Skye's Parole, and given what day it is, I thought it'd be a good way to celebrate it by uploading the entire series in a tidy, single video format 🎉

If this story was canon to the AA series itself...
The lore would've been huge.

This is like a story where she truly played a role in reviving the Wright we once knew, which leads to Dual Destinies and following.

Now that it's assembled like this:

If you told me this was an official script for an Ace Attorney stage play/anime film, I would believe you. THAT'S how well-written this is. 😊

The fact that this has fewer misspellings than AAI2's switch port is immaculately impressive

I think the sweetest thing to happen in this fanmade story is Angel Starr becoming a trusted friend of the Mishams. Because of this, Vera becomes less emotionally dependent on her father, more assertive, and somewhat more confident compared to her canon self in the video games. After her father's death, she accepts Angel as her new family and uses her art skills to design advertisements and packages for her "Demon Auntie's" lunchbox business - her first commission as a professional artist. Vera also gets to accomplish her lifelong dream of meeting Troupe Gramarye in person.

On Angel's end, she got to work as a detective again for several years and gradually got over her grudge against Lana and prosecutors in general. She unexpectedly comes to care about the Mishams and even earns the trust of the introverted Vera, who affectionately calls her "Demon Auntie"! After Kristoph's trial, Angel quits her job as a detective but without regrets. She finds a new purpose in life by fully dedicating herself to her lunchbox business and looking after the orphaned Vera.

Angel and Vera have considerably improved each other's lives here and I love to imagine it happening in canon.

19:50 Imagine if you have a very very very VERY serious workaholic prosecutor like Lana here talking to a ventriloquist's puppet like our amazing Mr Hat? This is so silly and yet brings a tear of joy to my eye :')

This has been possibly my favorite fan made I have watched in as many years as I could remember. The fact many characters were reused and the plotlines converged into one massive story arc was amazing. It even delves deeper into the motives and behind-the-scene how-dids. I imagine ace attorney series should be more like this, reusing many of the cast instead of one-off characters that only come one case and never again. I appreciate the hard work that was put into this and hope to maybe see even more in the future.

At heart, Kristoph was always a proud man who believed himself to be inherently better than everyone around him. In this fanmade story, his first experience with legal corruption through Lana Skye twisted that pride into something truly inhuman, gradually turning him into a remorseless criminal and murderer with the clout and expertise to twist the law into his personal bludgeon. It was for this reason that Lana Skye was doubly determined to take him down, to put an end to the legacy of her own crimes.

In the end, Kristoph is as proud and remorseless as ever, blaming everyone but himself and pathetically clinging to the tatters of his pride as if his life depended on it. This time, however, he regains a sliver of humanity by reflecting on Lana's final words and (inwardly) accepting that HE ALONE is responsible for choosing the path of corruption and murder. Kristoph also overcomes his own self-denials and realizes that he LOVES his brother Klavier but knows that he destroyed his brother's trust with his crimes. Basically, Kristoph realizes that he is a villain and he'll have to live with that.

Kristoph is a lesson in why pride is a deadly sin because his hubris allowed him to torment everyone around him, even his brother Klavier and his former protege Apollo.

Poor Trucy. When will she be recognized as ms. Wright?

Edit: I mean calling her "Ms. Enigmar" is kinda the same thing as calling Lana "Chief Prosecutor". It's not true anymore and only serves to wound.

I haven't seen anyone comment it, so I figured I'd go ahead. I'd like to touch on my favorite part about this story and it HAS to be Phoenix Wright.

Phoenix Wright IS doing exactly what Von Karma and Damon Gant did. The path to hell is paved with good intentions. When everything is said and done... Lana Skye looks at herself and Phoenix Wright and considers it all.

Yes, Mr. Wright is like Damon & Karma now, however... that can change. Phoenix Wright was the Turnabout Terror, fighting corruption at every turn.

Hell, that was the premise the story was written on. The hazardous law system in Japan is poisonous to it's very core, and is one of the major conflicts of Gyakuten Saiban. For a main character like Phoenix Wright, to face those issues is incredible. To see him fall, was a huge loss.

However, you can see this light change in him, the moment he gets his badge back and Lana talks with him. He restarts again, back where he started. Right in-line with Dual Destinies' bizarre regression of Ryūichi Naruhodō's character. However... now it all makes sense.

Phoenix Wright is finally healing.
