The dual screen days are marching forward for handheld fans, and I find myself a bit more conflicted than I thought I'd be. Not sure if it's because my 3DS and DS nostalgia is impenetrable or if these devices really are just forgetting THE ASSIGNMENT BRO.

As a depressed and broke college student, the deeply discounted 2DS was a godsend back in the early 2010s. The street passes I got kept me from feeling too lonely, and the games gave me a purpose aside from just working and studying. I will forever love this family of consoles! ❤

I'm gonna be flexing in retirement home with my ds collection

Clam shell designs are truly pocketable. Actual handheld game consoles.Something you can truly carry around with you in your pocket. As opposed to the, "I always carry a backpack around with me to carry my Switch/PC gaming handheld", lies we tell ourselves.

We all love grandma! My grandma would always ask my parents what games I wanted and got that for me for Christmas every year “as long as I kept getting good grades” but she would get it regardless lol. I miss her every day and still think of her when I hear Zelda Spirit Tracks music.

Outro feels nice, dude. I wish you'd stay strong with the stuff related to your grandma ... We all love her !!

My sister and I asked for smash melee and a GameCube for Christmas when we were kids. My grandma didn't understand how consoles worked and she bought doubles. One GameCube and one copy of smash for each of us 😂

3DS really was peak handheld. I love my switch but I don’t really like playing handheld mode.

So happy we brought back Streetpass in 2024. I wish that lasted longer though.

The 3DS was my first console/device and I still have my original one over a decade later. Oh how I miss the good ol' days of the 3DS 😭.

DS and 3DS are 2 handhelds I am glad that I was able to experience in 2000's and 2010's!

This past July made three years since I lost my grandma. Cherish all the time you have with yours. I love how you have your grandma in your videos and she seems like she really enjoys making a cameo in them.

My grandma is my absolute foundation. I can see the same with you and your grandma. You're right, those conversations are tough, but the wisdom those words carry will echo throughout many more generations; as long as you have those conversations. Much love

I appreciate you making your own tracks in your videos.

That music was beautiful bro, damn near teared up. I lost my grandma when I was a junior in high school almost 20 years ago and that shit still hurts.

15:55 I just got home from seeing my grandma who’s 85 and she’s always dropping wisdom

Wow, the last part gave me chills—in a good way. I can really relate to what you were saying about having deep, emotional conversations not only with elder people but with some friends of mine.

I lost my grandmother roughly 6 months ago, its been pretty rough on my mom and me along with my younger brother so when I get to talk with my mom about that and help her not give up I can definitely understand those deep conversations you mentioned, if anyone has a loved one that they have a great relationship with and all that definitely make sure to let them know how you love them dearly. Great content as always.
