Just curious, is the biological indicator's lot number, contained within the premanufactured 3M test pack, reflected on the outside label?
If so, would it have helped to cross reference that test pack biological lot number to the 'control' biological placed in the incubator prior to computer data uploading / running the sterilization load?
If not, what process 'check' could have been implemented / utilized to 'tie the two together' to prevent this particular 'differing of bio indicator lot numbers' circumstance from occurring?
