I learned about this video series at my local Wendy's washroom. Someone wrote on a stall: "For a good Taimanov, call GM Hambleton"

Aman you're a legend. 10/10 content. I consider you my chess coach.

This video is pure GOLD. I'm addicted to watching Aman play and coach me how to play these positions. I actually learn more things applicable to many other positions simultaneously. Hands down the best chess content out there!!

“He ended without any pieces.  Gg” 😄

I wait for these Taimanov episodes on Friday Nights (🇵🇰) so pretty hard and when I open YT and Mr Hamblton’s thumbnail is there on the top, it’s adrenaline rush for me!!!

I started playing chess 7 months ago. I learned this opening from Aman and now im 1200.

I’ll need to keep that Nc4 idea in mind.

The setup is quite nice.. it’s really natural to get the same kinds of positions as these videos showcase.

Love this series. I’ve been struggling between black responses. Not anymore 😊

How is that possible. You always have a answer to every situation. Thats just great

If there was a combined score for chess skill + relatability, Aman would be the world #1. A true modern chess legend. Thank you, Mister Hambleton.

These are so good. I've started playing this every e4 because of you. Never thought I'd be a Sicilian player, but you make this setup look easy.

I look forward to these games so much.

23:33 sniped by his own bishop

I know that grandmasters make most positions look easy, but this system is actually pretty easy to learn and really solid too. Most of White's natural short-term  attacking moves don't work which gives black a relatively easy opening compared to many others.

Aman can you add wow look at you, you made it to the end of the video kind of thing at the end. I know it is a funny request but I always found it amusing and encouraging.

another taimanov classic

Such a great system for lower rated players. I have an 80% winrate with it (750-850elo). Let's not mention my success with White

thanks aman :)

How do you know when not to castle like he did in game 2?
