The reason Magic Conch stopped taking you to the other side is because the world is actually a few tiles bigger than you can see at the edges of it but you can still place platforms there with smart cursor.
So you placed a few of them "out of bounds" and since Conch tries to take you to the further tile, it sees it as invalid, fails and takes you to the other ocean instead.

FINALLY! I haven't seen anyone mess around with the pirate staff at all despite looking for video's covering the new items/ buffed items. Holy crap they actually look usable now instead of a ground minion at the stage where you're fighting bosses that mostly fly.

Also yeah the item bloat in these bag's need's a solution. Relogic please let us shimmer cycle boss drops.

0:30 its not weird, a healing potion is also a LIFE potion, so in this crafting its used not to heal but to give life to something that doesnt had life in the start.

2:40 i think its because the finch staff chance only accounts for the "hidden" room living wood chests with the living loom. remember, the chests all around the tree were originally regular wood chests

as a little note if you play summoner again: the starcrash/firecracker/new reworked vulgar display of flower work completely differently to all other whips, where they give you a multiplicative damage boost for one hit after you hit with the whip, rather than tag damage which is a flat boost. so, they boost slow-hitting minions, rather than boosting fast-hitting minions like every other whip, and don't whip stack nearly as well as everything else as their damage is per whip hit (so, they're only good to use as your main whip or snake band extra hit)

so basically, unless you're using abigail, the desert tiger, or stardust dragon (or in some cases the imp staff/foxparks/ruinous staff/sanguine staff), you don't want to use those whips, and if you are using those you want to primarily use those whips.
(the vulgar display of flower is a bit weird because it has tag damage too, and quite a bit, so you can actually use it with fast-hitting minions and it's pretty decent. though durendal is still better)

just for reference, 1.4.5.7 changed how moon lord works so the eyes synchronize their attacks. It doesn't make a difference when you take them out.

2:35 actually its just the way the wiki phrased it. Finch staff is a 1/3 however only in living wood chests that spawn in the little room with the chairs and living loom.
