Don’t Blame it on love is criminally overlooked. One of the best songs from the period. Love this band and this album.

I like these debates. No one talks over eachother, and there is a genuine respect for others opinions.

This was in my top 20 of most listened to albums of that era.

I got this when it first came out in 1991. So many great songs on this album, I still play it today.

Andy Timmons is a monster player and such a humble nice dude.

Had the tape on its release in the UK and played it to death. Yes tongue in cheek but rocked..and loved DD ever since.

I Still Think About You would have been a number one song if it came out in 1988. I walked into Budget Music & Video to buy the Dangerous Toys album in the summer of ‘89. Right in front of it was the Danger Danger debut, and I looked at the back cover, said I bet this is good… asked the clerk to put it on. (Which is something a good record store would do back in the day) Instant buy. Loved DD ever since. Screw It is the better album tho!

Fun fact: The album was originally supposed to be called “Monkey Business”…knowing that, the album art makes more sense. But Skid Row released their song of the same name and DD scrambled to change the title and apparently gave up and said, “Screw it!”

I really like this album. Dumb lyrics aside, it is a fun party record. And Timmons is a monster player…Crazy Nights has the perfect hair metal solo.

It's a fantastic album and saw DD here in the UK 🇬🇧 quite a few times, Screw it, debut and Cockroach all superb, in my opinion anyway

I’m 54, never got too into DD. I definitely started in the hair metal but moved more towards thrash by my late teens - may need to put these guys on the playlist and dig in. Enjoyed the video.

I'd rank that debut with Hysteria...i absolutely loved it. Perfect summer soundtrack

Oh no!!! Contrarily, Screw It was the pinnacle of hair metal. It was heavier and more "guitar crunching" that the S/T debut, and it contained such catchy and heavy songs like Monkey Business, Beat the Bullet, Crazy Nites, and Don't Blame It On Love.

In seventh grade, I wore this album out. I just gave it another spin, and still LOVE it. Andy Timmons makes this album for me. I was lucky enough to see them on the 25th anniversary tour with both him and Kasey. This was one of my top 5 growing up.

I put the first two Danger Danger albums right up there with Pyromania and Hysteria as well as Slippery and New Jersey in terms of great back-to-back albums from that era. Danger Danger was the epitome of melodic metal for me.

Screw It was miles ahead of the self-titled debut, thanks in no small part to Erwin Musper's production work and Andy Timmons's blazing guitar leads. It created a small buzz where I live, so much so that both the album and acoustic versions of "I Still Think About You" got equal amounts of radio airplay.
