As of this comment I am at 1:01:30 of the video, so they may already do this, but I have noticed that the crafting items like plants in the open world are unaffected by the randomizer. So I would guess that the smithing stones that can be found on the walls of certain caves and mines may also not be affected by it. So maybe if they go to these mines around Limgrave, Liurnia or Caelid they would find some somber stones.
