This Volvo is actually beautiful ❤. I think its one of the most beautiful cars made last several years, and recently

having plug and charge capabilities with the Tesla supercharger network was one of the best decisions they have made. I don't see why people would have range anxiety with that being the case. google being built in is also a great choice along with a fast and responsive infotainment system. I think they may have a winner here. Bonus points for keeping the head up display.

Really like your review. You do it different and therefor very nice to watch!

I am not sure why you showed the BMW when talking about scaling back because BMW didn't scale back. BMW redesigned their vehicles from the ground up instead and just launched them. You need to drive the BMW iX3, it also has massive range and 800V architecture.

Great Review!!

The P12 has one of the biggest batteries for this type of EV. It has 112 kWh of useable capacity. The Model Y Performance only has an ~85 kWh battery.

It is beautiful, but I don’t know how practical the center stack/glove box is.  If a passenger wants to charge their phone while on it, the glove box has to be open.  Then if you have a cup of coffee, the cup holders have to be extended toward the open glove box door.  It looks doable, but it looks awkward.

Hi great video I’ve got a XC40 nearly 5year old only 31 thousand miles on clock so I’m on the verge of changing it to XC60 or EX60 that car is amazing 👍

I've seen many reviews of this model EX-60 and this one is at the top. Thanks!
I must add that, in winter (I'm from Montreal in Canada), that wing handle is MUCH better than a pop-out version that would be at risk of freezing in the door.
Great review.

Take a drink every time you hear the word awesome. Love the review and the car though.

Nice. My 2nd favourite BEV manufacturer is Volvo. ❤

love the booster seat!

As a Polestar 3 owner, this will definitely be my next car.

I’ve been shopping everything under 200k. Checked out the G wagon, Range Rover autobiography, even the macan turbo EV. I liked the new model y performance the best. Though I thought this Volvo sold me. But I just realized you can’t keep the AC on when you’re away for any reason, meaning no dog mode. No dashcam or security cameras like sentry. Top speed is 112.. I still want to drive it but I feel like all three combined might be enough to take it out for me personally.

As a potential customer, my fear would be not being able to turn off the bings and bongs for not being in lane, or speed limit notifications 📢…

What a cool car, Asian Thor. Your review was very good and fun.

I love my Tesla Y but I think this is on the list for the next car.

That's a happy video, love it!

Plays in the same space 😁. That’s polite for you’re not on my level.
Not a fan of those door handles.  Those are my least favorite of all of the ones I’ve seen. If they want to reduce customer energy just have them open when customers approach or when the button is pressed.
The iX3 charging port also opens like that.
Plug and charge is the play for sure.
Great move having the camera washer on there.
I’m here for the split hatch floor. That’s great for access and he additional space while having other items at the top level.
Individual door switches. It just makes sense.
If the buttons I’m in vehicles are so overwhelming now are those folks about to stop using computers?
Their up level audio systems are exemplary.
The Google integration is a welcome addition for me.
I’d still like a digital mirror option for when the rear is loaded with people and/or packages.
Cool tech with the smart safety belt system.
I need to see that kitchen cabinet glovebox in person. I’m not sure how I feel about that. It looks out of place on camera to me.
Did someone challenge you before filming to see how many times you could say Tesla in a Volvo video.
I need Volvo to get with the times.  I don’t need an assist with my hands on the wheel. If my hands are on the wheel I can just do it myself.  There’s no partial acceleration and braking with cruise control. The vehicle just does it.
Was there a contractural agreement between Volvo and Polestar to let Polestars have the adult top speed in their version of the vehicles.
Kudos for the integrated and heated booster seats.
The rear seat legroom looks good.  Can’t wait to try it.
Volvo, can we get the climate vents on the B pillars and away from the knees please.  You already have floor heating vents about a foot below those console vents.
P20 dude???🤦‍♀️
P12 all day for me.
Good question about potential issues 👌
Great comment about Tesla being simple 👌
Their NOT full but supervised self driving is really remarkable.
Thanks for the thorough review.  It sounds like Volvo is about to open the books and share the nitty gritty. 🤙

It's aimed to compete with Audi, BMW, primarily. Tesla operates in a different space, not quite the premium level with the Y.
