I’m 6.2 and it really ain’t bad had mine for 7 years and yes, they are pretty rare. I’ve only seen one white one other than mine within that time but great clip well done for showing them off
I have a manual version of this and it is awesome to drive - you find yourself changing gear for the sake of it as it's so damn good - great review by the way!
I've got the manual in montego blue with 19" CSL's on BC coilovers, fantastic cars but my personal opinion the blacked out rear lights make it look cheap 🤷♂️
I’m 6’2” and fit in mine just fine I only have the 2.5 manual but it’s enough for me that’s a lovely coupe I do like the coupe’s these are stunning cars and so much fun smiles per gallons 😊 enjoyed watching your video thanks
I'm 6.2 and actually i don't have much struggles with the interior size & height. Also have the M-Steering wheel and with my long fingers it perfectly fits for me. i hate these thin steering wheels. Long legs but you can adjust the seating and steering wheel position to seat really comfortable. I love it! Getting in the car can be a struggle if you can't open the door wide open. But i think that's a general struggle with much or less any sports car 😆 I own my silver 3.0si manual gearbox coupe for now a half a year and looking forward to the time I spend in the car!
Great review,! I literally one week ago just bought a Japanese import 2006, 3L si coupe into Vancouver, Canada. and I absolutely love it! You kind of have to avoid the attention you get...it's nuts! Mind you this generation of the coupe was never sold in Canada so to call it rare is a mild understatement guvna 😄 Oh, and your accent (to me! Haha)...is lovely! Cheers from this side of the pond
So, you trying to say that its a bit small inside then 🙂 Im 5'11'' and its perfect fit, the car feels nicely wrapped around me for a sports car. If I were in a Qashqai yes I would want a bit of elbow room etc. The sport button by the way changes on the manuals the steering to feel more heavy and the throttle response to be more immediate (although can be replicated by just putting your foot down!). On the autos it does both those things plus sports up the gear changes. No changes to suspension. The manual gearbox is a beaut, really solid gear shift nice and weighty if you get the BMW ZHP gear knob or similar and swap out the rubbish plastic one. The Audi TT is definitely a boat in comparison, numb and dull. The Cayman is a better car, but more expensive and more likely to explode on you. The Z4 sits so nicely in the middle of it all, the si is overlooked generally because people dont know to look!
They’re a cool little car. I bought one last year; they’re bloody dinky especially compared to SUV’s etc. I agree that the interior isn’t the biggest and they’re a bit noisy with a lot of tyre noise.
They’re a bargain in the UK and manage to feel pretty special. The N52 is a gray engine and is pretty solid really although it does suffer a few issues.
The BMW Z4 3.0si Coupe with a manual transmission (828 units in North America) is a standout rarity:
- **BMW Z8**: Even rarer with 2,543 units in the U.S., underscoring the exclusivity of both models. - **Audi R8 V10 Manual (First Gen)**: The Z4 is rarer in North America among only 828 units. - **Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1**: Fewer units compared to the ZR1's 4,684 units, the Z4 Coupe maintains a unique appeal. - **Lotus Exige S (North America)**: With similar limited numbers, the Z4 highlights BMW's exclusivity among only 828 units. - **Dodge Viper (Final Gen)**: The Z4's scarcity outpaces this iconic American sports car's approximately 2,000 units, making it a prized addition for collectors and enthusiasts.
