I played them both
I grew up on the ps2 version but now i played mainly on the pc
I like both for some reason for me it felt like 2 separate games and enjoying them both feels right for me
Yeah i know the ps2 felt empty but again
For me playing them both separately feels right for me

I mean, yep, it's the worst version on consoles. But it still has the feel and "aura" of the full game
It's like a complete "demo" version. It may have less content, but it is as fun as the original
I really spent hours and hours on the PS2 playing this gem of a game.

Same case from PS2 for glimpse of ProStreer but after I got laptop and I feel the advancement that makes me like this game more than Mpst Wanted

Grip, Speed and Drift races on the Wii version with the steering accessory feels like irl driving, However Wii drag races were a DISASTER like how could EA think of controls like that, you do a perfect Input, and the Output shift is either Delayed or doesn't even shift

There's this thing where if you go 250 MPH your steering basically doesn't exist. At first I thought it was an emulator issue but no. It's on hardware as well. Thankfully the Wii Version doesn't have that issue but damn

Its more like a demo version more complete but with less textures ...even with that Wii and PS2 (Even the NDS versions) versions have the ProStreet Aura

Nah, Both the PS2 and PS3 has the same rotational view Car Lot and static view on the Race Day car selection.

It's just the PS2 lacking cars that PS3 have like Acura Integra DC2, Acura NSX NA2, Aston Martin DB9R, Bugatti Veyron, Honda S2000, Lancia Delta HF Integrale, etc.

Having played both over the years, mainly the 360 growing up.
I’ve recently got back to playing prostreet on my PS2 and still find it to be just as enjoyable as back then.
Yes the model/textures are not as sharp but it’s still a fun game.
My only critique is I can’t use the triggers for throttle and brake like the 360

One of PS2 version big downgrade was lack of Widescreen support for some reason, all PS2 NFS starting with Underground 2 and untill Carbon did had Widescreen option, yet Pro Street for some dumb reason don't

(Don't know about Undercover since i don't have it on PS2, neither have big wish to play reskin of MW)

the first time ive played this game was like litteraly pain and stuff but ive had soo much fun that ive even made another save just to replay everything again NFS Pro Street os really great game but not in some other people´s eyes

I remember my very first prostreet experience was on ps2 and i remember being disappointed till i played the 360 version and realized how much better it was.. i actually recently bought the ps2 version on ebay just because i hadnt played it in years and i realized just how bad that version was
