Vyper making satan have a genuine laugh might count for a powerscalling feat

Holy shit he fucking COOKED Drifter

"I assure you we do NOT compare" Apollo is walking away from that with a smile. Doorman is walking away from that with a bigger smile lol

doormn, the god that loves seeing mortals suffering, thinks about ivy joining the service industry and goes "trust me don't get there" that's how bad it is

I like that the Doorman is basically G-Man that can throw hands

I love how the Elderitch horror from beyond time and space appreciates the adorable little gargoyle.

Vyper can at least now call herself an accomplished comedian now for making The Doorman laugh probably the hardest he's ever laughed in his existence before she presumably gets thrown into the Baroness for all eternity and time

Sliver getting banned from the bottomless mimosas has got to be a personal peak for me

The dressing down The Doorman gave Drifter was legendary; had Drifter so shook, Drifter asked him who the hell was he. And that "I'm just the doorman" was the coldest finisher he could've hit him with.

God I love the humanity all of these characters exude, and some of them aren't even human.

doorman telling ivy to not work in customer service is awesome

Venator finally having conversation with Satan this update

i love the veiled threats between the doorman and venator regarding the baroness. it's basically venator saying "our sect is interested in the baroness" to which doorman is effectively saying "if your sect tries anything on my domain, i will personally handle you"

For the first time in a very long time, the Drifter knew fear.

It’s like Doorman and Calico are almost BFFs

Haze attempting to "bait" The Doorman into reading her mind is SO INTERESTING!
1. It implies she knows he's supernatural (makes sense, the OSIC definitely has a file on him)
2. It suggests that the minds of Sandmen are so dangerous that even a minor god like The Doorman knows better than to touch one, or that attempting to invade a Sandman's mind gives them the legal authority to kill you.

Doorman and Calico being sweet wasn't expected.

I love Doorman's interactions with Ivy, he sounds like hes right at the counter of Baroness answering Ivy's questions

"It was neither barb nor balm" is an amazing phrase.

Vyper: tells Doorman she was gonna rob the Baroness

Doorman: genuinely loses it in laughter
