🇨🇭 GOODBYE SWITZERLAND, HELLO ITALY! 🇮🇹

Day 36 of our 5-month travel adventure, and it's time to say goodbye to Switzerland after an incredible journey through some of the most beautiful scenery we've ever experienced!

Today we started in Lugano, where we discovered a local festival and watched traditional polenta being prepared in a huge copper pot.

From there, we crossed the border into Italy, travelling by bus to the beautiful lakeside town of Menaggio on Lake Como. 🇮🇹

After settling into our accommodation up in Loveno, we enjoyed our first taste of Italian life, including a delicious dish of polenta with mushrooms and garlic oil! 🍄

We've absolutely loved Switzerland, but after seeing how much it cost us, we're looking forward to exploring Italy and discovering what Lake Como has to offer.

🚢 This is all part of our 5-month adventure through Europe, across the Atlantic to the USA and eventually the Caribbean!
