Getting que'd against a Diamond Lesion player on your first match is a uniquely R6 experience

3:28 Choosing Ying with a teammate named "I have epilepsy" is crazy work

Lmao bro the rage I had when I was newcomer is crazy. But there is no FPS game that can replace Siege, it’s a masterpiece in core

Those attacking rounds in siege where everyone on your team is exactly where they need to be, everyone brings the right utility, and you execute a surgical plant is one the greatest feelings in gaming. No game has ever given me that feeling.

its the fact that this game is harder than most is what makes those clutch plays and moments so much more rewarding because of all the stress beforehand

If you're looking for a part 2, I'll show you the reigns

5k hours Siege veteran of 8 years here. You actually did really good. From my experience you actually start to get the grasp of the game at around lvl 100-150. Right now the most important thing you gotta improve is map knowledge. Operators, gadgets and utility are important of course but it will always be secondary to understanding the flow of the map. Grind landmark drill one map at a time to memorize the basic layout first. Then switch to target drill to learn the common angles. You must obviously remember which rooms come after which, but then you also gotta know every staircase, every hatch and every important breachable wall. When you can confidently pre-aim all the default positions when you round a corner and effortlessly navigate from any point of the map to any other point of the map, then you'll know you've succeded.

4:40 facing diamond players on the first match...☠

I was just casually watching until I realized you ain't even got like at least 100k subscribers??? Dude, you're way of formatting your videos and editing is something I'd expect from a very well-seasoned YouTuber, not someone whose first video was 2 weeks ago. Keep up the good work, CupppaJoe! Your content is pretty entertaining and extremely well made.

6:31 You didn’t get lucky, you used your utility and that’s how you win games

As a vet player its always nice to see someone new stick with it. Its a punishing game but most of the fun comes from that moment when everything clicks. Good job my dude.

This game is frustrating to learn, but so fun once you get it down. Spent the first couple weeks dying every round, then all of a sudden it just clicked and I've gotten way better. Been playing for just over a year. We should play together!

how is this video so well made but with very few views

10 hours on MNK and Siege being your first FPS? Didn't know you were a masochist lmao

Please do another video on this game. As someone who has played siege for 7 years, it’s a slow climb to getting good but so rewarding to see the fruits of your labor. I love watching someone progress through the same challenges I faced starting out. A lot of great tips in this comment section already. Hope you continue to play siege and don’t let its rigor discourage you!!

A few tips to help:

1. When attacking, use your drone! Plan a point of entry and drone 2 rooms at a time pushing further in if clear.

2. Your sensitivity is wayyy too high. Go to the shooting range and practice tracing the bots until you find a sensitivity that isn’t so shaky. A good place to start is a sensitivity that turns your camera 180degrees when using your entire mousepad. Also work on utilizing the leaning mechanic to help with target acquisition and holding angles. Once you pick a good sens, DO. NOT. CHANGE. IT. You want to develop muscle memory and not be tricking your brain all the time.

3. Sound is a huge part of the game. Already saw you using it to discern whether an enemy was pushing you or not. Learning the specific cues, such as crouch walking, proning, and vaulting will help you a lot.

4. Knowing maps is key. This comes with time and experience, but knowing where common angles are, what the common site attacks and setups are, and understanding where to push are all important!!

5. Swing or be swung. Siege is often a game of confidence. If you know the general area of an enemy, build the confidence to swing out and shoot. Peekers advantage should help you.

9:40 it’s amazing because you can see the difference in your movement instantly. You look more confident in your character movement overall

I felt the same way when i started. my buddy was super into it and he dragged me thru hell for the last 5 years of playing this game trying to learn it. But i can say that after those 5 years, i am.... still trash haha! but as you said, when things go your way or you make a nice play, no other shooter feels as rewarding.

man seeing this made me remember how i struggled to even get a single kill in my first  100 or so hours into the game. i was already familiar with keyboard and mouse and yet, this game then was very brutal on me. i still stuck to it and im almost in at 1k hours and still havent touched gold ranks yet. its best if you have a friend to play alongside. hope you continue to play this game in the future

not a veteran here, but 1.2k hours of siege and still learning, i play this game almost every single day since i started to play in 2021, you did actually evolved so much in this time, for sure if you keep playing and find someone to fill your squad, it will be even better than playing solo queue
