A savoir que Jean Gabin, de son vrai nom Jean Moncorgé est un des rares acteurs français à avoir pris les armes contre l'occupant. Il s'était engagé dans l'armée française libre, dans une unité de première ligne: Le Régiment Blindé de Fusiliers Marin (RBFM). Il fut chef de char sur des chasseurs de char américains TDM10, baptisé "le Souffleur II". Il a débarqué avec la 2ème DB en Normandie et est allé jusqu'au coeur de l'Allemagne. Il eut comme compagne jusqu'après la fin de guerre Marlène Dietrich. Elle était aussi engagée dans l'armée alliée en tant qu'auxiliaire féminine et parcourait les arrières du front pour remonter le moral des troupes alliées.😊
