Imagine having a daughter, then your girl leaves and you take her back with someone else’s child and you adopt that child, then your girls sister is a severe drug addict so you take that child as well and adopt her. Now that’s a man!!!

This song is literally poetry. It’s a poem. He poured his heart on this. He isn’t the greatest writer in rap he’s one of the greatest writers in general.

Hailey - Em's biological daughter with Kim
Alaina "Laney" - Em's niece/adopted daughter (Kim's twin sister's daughter-she struggled with addiction for years before it took her life)
Whitney - Em's 2nd adopted daughter (Kim's daughter with another man-he skipped out & never looked back)
Nathan - Em's younger brother (Em took custody & raised him as his own)

After Em & Kim split the last time, he eventually got custody of all the girls.

Brunette is Alaina, Kim's twin sisters daughter. Eminem got custody when Kim's sister couldn't care for her, and later died.

Yo bro if you do this song you need to do "When I'm Gone" it's like they go together almost.

The brunette is Alaina, she is Em's niece, he adopted her.

People believing Em has no content is a twilight zone trip

Eminem found Kim kissing a bouncer outside a club so he pistol whipped him. That's why he was in court also

Do the warning diss
If you wanna see him react to it leave a like 👍

Kim stayed Eminem was an amazing father in interviews and the documentary. She never took that from him, which is dope.

Became a dad 4 years ago.
This song makes me tear up now.

The most overlooked bar in this song is in the verse: “I know Mommy's not here right now, and we don't know why
We fear how we feel inside” the drug addiction made them feel like she/kim is not there, even if she was. Sad to know how rough life can be.

Wanted Superman but I’ll take this, this era of em is my favorite

Mockingbird!! It's about time. I never clicked so fast, lol. Yes, Eminem made the beat. He seriously needs to produce 100% of his own album someday.

Stevie becoming a broken record talkin bout Em cadence lol. It’s ok we can’t believe he’s that good either 😂

Old time’s sake, when I’m gone, above the law.

SING FOR THE MOMENT

If you want the 'prequel' to Mockingbird react to "Hailie's Song" give a little more background to this one

What basically happened with Em and Kim:
• They has tumultous relationship, and when Em talked bad about Kim in his songs and made infamous  Kim song, the real Kim attempted suicide and Hailie found her
• Kim also was addicted to drugs
•She's been in and out from jail her whole life
• My guess is Em feels responsible about Kim because her problems are partly his fault
• First Em had Alaina's and Hailie's guardianship but later in the life Kim becae co-guardian also
• Em build a house to Kim near his own place so he and his team is able to keep the eye on her.
• I bet Em supprts Kim financially
