I never believe anything a saleman says. And I always leave the dealer without buying anything at least once before I buy anything, be it car, trucks or motorcycles. I even leave appliance stores if I don't like what I hear from a saleman or lady. They like to make a sale on the first visit. That's what they are trained to do, and I don't let them entice me into buying.

Debt-to-income ratio is no different depending on what you buy first. He wants people to buy the trailer first so he gets the sale. Bummer if you can't get the truck, but he doesn't care. And yes, he is probably playing you on your lack of knowledge. Doesn't matter if you are a woman or not. It is good that you are doing your research. The more you learn, the more you can question what they are saying. A lot of women and even men get taken advantage of because they don't do the research. Good video.

EVEN FOR A RETIRED PERSON LIKE MYSELF? cash is cash? once paid theres nothing to charge extra this and that ?shopping around his not going to know where or when or who your talking to unless you tell him? if im looking dealer to dealer, these dealers dont know who i am tell i fill out the papers work, ?his FULL OF SHIT? DEALING WITH A DEARLER OR SELLER AND HE STATED THESE THINGS IS ONE NOT TO BUY FROM, ! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING A SALE , THATS IT! YES, TO YOUR QUESTIONS ON SALES PITCHS? A FEW OTHER ITEMS FOR THE BUYERS, MANDATORY AN INSPECTOR BEFORE THE SALE IS FINAL, DEALERS DONT LIKE THIS BEFORE BECAUSE THE BUYER GETS A BAD INSPECTION ON THE RV OR TRAILER ITS NOT A SALE. INSPECTION IS A MUST, IF YOU ASK THE DEALER CAN I GET AN INSPECTION BEFORE THE FINAL SIGNATURE OF THE SALE AND THEY SAY NOT SAY GOOD BYE? INSPECTION IS A GUARANTEE THAT COVERS YOUR DEAL! AS FAR AS MANUFACTURES ANY THING MADE UNDER THE CORP. OF THOR DONT BUY ITS JUNK?

I'm not really sure why you would want to buy a new r v from a dealer., Buy it used and let somebody else deal with the depreciation hit.

I think it depends on your financial circumstances. Me & my wife have been retired for 9 years we have bought two 5th wheel toy haulers two trucks and one car in that 9 years span never had one problem getting a loan we do pay our loans off fairly fast.

I sell campers at a small family dealership. (Am retiring also soon.). I have retirees buy campers ALL THE TIME! I just started this job about 8 months ago.
