For anyone wondering - we didn’t leave because of the wind… we left because where we were staying there were a lot of dead trees (widow makers) and high in the mountains the wind can really strong, to the point of pulling the trees out with the roots.

Mate I totally get the ca4 alarm ⏰ thing.
Absolute nightmare in September 2025 when I tried car camping.
The alarm went off 4 times!!  I gave up getting any sleep and drove around the Chiltern Hills until dawn. Then drove home.

It's amazing to watch the black star filled sky turn blue and the stars disappear one by one. Incredible sunrise 🌅 too.

Man alive I was wincing watching you chop that log on that high stump… and then it happened you were so lucky there mate, please use a lower one next time even if it means placing both knees on ground that way if you have a miss hit the axe hits the floor and not you..

I detest campers who leave litter, bottles and cans behind... LEAVE NO TRACE ! Why can't people follow some 'basic' rules. The tiny percentage cause the biggest amount of headaches for all.
