Who would win in a fight between a tiger and a silverback gorilla? Watch to the end to find out :)
The silverback gorilla; It's often regarded as the largest living primate and the largest great ape. The gorillas you typically see in zoos, which are Western Lowland Gorillas, are one of the smallest subspecies. They weigh about 310 lbs on average. However, the Eastern Lowland Gorillas and Mountain Gorillas get much larger. Eastern silverback gorillas average between 330-460 lbs. Gorillas are herbivores, so they eat the lush vegetation around them. Gorillas typically inhabit the rainforests of equatorial Africa. Their territories sometimes overlap with chimpanzees, with the chimps often being the aggressors. So, how strong are gorillas? Well, a gorilla's strength is very overrated. In a recent video I made, I calculated how much a gorilla could bench press. Gorillas can bench press about 2.25 times their body weight. Silverback gorillas fight amongst other members of their troop, and rival silverbacks from other troops. When gorillas fight, they like to wrestle and bite their opponents if in range. They don't really punch, but rather club and slap their opponents.
Tigers; They are one of the most famous and iconic of the big cats. There are 6 different subspecies of tigers currently living. The largest subspecies are Siberian tigers and Bengal tigers. Siberian tiger, or also known as Amur tigers, live in Eastern Siberia. Siberian tigers hunt deer and wild boar mainly. There are some false beliefs that Siberian tigers actively hunt bears. That spawns the famous grizzly bear vs tiger debate, or tiger vs bear debate in general. For many reasons, the Siberian tigers don't fight bears in head-on fights, especially mature males. On the off chance they hunt bears, the bears are often sleeping and are juveniles / sick individuals. Bears make up a small portion of a Siberian tiger's diet. The Bengal tiger lives in central India, and it also mainly hunts deer and boars. However, they do hunt more prey as well due to them living in a more biodiverse area. Tigers are ambush predators. However, tigers of course do fight. So, how do tigers fight? Well, they like to stand up and strike with their claws. Tigers are very agile and will try to overwhelm their opponents with their speed and strength. Once in control, the dominant tiger will bite the throat of its victim.

Imagine being a gorilla and reading that pre-fight prediction. 🤣🤣
Or the general audience will come over and say that gorila would lift the the tiger , tear it apart and throw the pieces into space
( they'd genuinely believe that)
