The number 1 predator that attacks Humans are Humans

Predators that see humans as prey? You guys forgot the politician.

Hippos and water buffalo don’t hunt humans but they won’t hesitate to kill one.

Don’t forget the Komodo Dragon actively stalks and kills humans

Humans are the number one Apex predators.

They are not maneaters, they are hunters that hunt prey and if you happened to be accessible you are prey.

It's always, "Due to habitat Destruction"...where are they SUPPOSED to go?

These cats are so gorgeous.  Dangerous but beautiful ❤

This video is a powerful reminder that humans aren't always at the top of the food chain. Respecting wildlife, keeping a safe distance, and understanding animal behavior are the best ways to protect both ourselves and nature.

Hippos should have gotten honorable mention even though they're not technically "maneaters". They're omnivores who can eat anything, and they do kill tons of people in Africa.

Leopards behave the way they do around humans is because they have mainly lived around people that don't have easy access to firearms and that generally, do not hunt them.  If leopards lived around an American society, they would have learned over time that avoiding humans and their homes is the safest way to exist.  Also, many people in India and similar areas simply leave their dogs outside and unprotected at night, that's just an easy meal for a leopard.  That easy meal and a lack of reprisal from the humans is only encouraging the leopards to continue their behavior.

Most of these attacks are probably rare, but they make for fascinating stories

The only reason that the house cat is not on the list is they are too small and we are too big.

Some researchers say that almost every tiger in the Sundarbans region is either a regular man-eater, or have tasted human flesh at least once it its life. One of the main reasons behind this is the scarcity of their natural prey like wild boars and deer in the very muddy and extremely dense mangrove forests with saline water (generally avoided by deer and boars) and sharp mangrove roots (emerging from stick-like mangrove fruits) sticking out of the mud almost in the entire region. The second factor, of course, is regular human intrusion in these jungles, the natural territory of the tigers, for fishing and for collecting honey, wild fruits, wood etc. The Sundarbans tigers show one more peculiar behaviour, i.e. they hunt with equal ease on land as-well-as in water. There are several instances where tigers stalked a boat swimming behind it totally unnoticed just like a crocodile, then suddenly capsized it or jumped onto it, grabbed a man, and jumped back into the river and swam away. The locals there say that tigers of Sundarbans are as expert as crocodiles there, when it comes to hunt from water. There is a village in Sundarbans, locally nicknamed as the "Village of the widows" where almost every household lost its man to the tigers.

I hate how cute polar bears are, because in spite of their size, you never know how much of a threat they are until they're busy eating you.

This video is excellent. Really enjoyed every part of it. 🙏🏽

This topic is terrifying but fascinating. Apex predators are already powerful enough, but knowing some of them have hunted humans makes the wild feel even more intense and unpredictable.

Humans are easy to Eat. Let that sink in
