The Chinese commenting here wont even type the word "Taiwan", yet lack the ability to connect that and the need for US military presence in the South China Sea.  😂  Do you really think theres anything on mainland China the US wants?  I know what China wants!  All those wafer fabs in Taiwan they cant replicate.  How about China accepts Taiwan as a sovereign nation for starters.

🤣 Video Summary: Future drone fleet isn't about strategy or design, just the amount of $$ available

Pairing non stealth CCA with stealth fighters what a great idea. Using them to act as decoy in the face of incoming missiles sounds familiar too like flares?

一次才两发空空？ 看不起中国哦？

"The dangerous water of the South China Sea" - and why is it dangerous? Definitely not because of the American military hardware, right? It must be because of China LOL

美国人为什么不能少扔点炸弹，多修一些铁路、发电厂或学校，至少把那些上百年历史的含铅水管换掉吧

So CCAs are good at close range and when stealth matters less as in .... DEFENSE? :D

Why is sk not included?

If you are absolutely unable to win a war, you are probaböy running war games all the time

I did not see anything new in the video that has not been discussed on various forums the last few months. It's well known that three CCA's do not provide the full capability of one manned fighter. Trying to assume so is folly and you have to wonder about plans to replace manned aircraft 1 for 1 on carriers with CCA's. Pilots in combat are already overwhelmed so asking them to direct the movements of other aircraft while fighting for their lives is not a practical solution. CCA's need to be self-directed with a button click to go CAP, attack, jam decoy, etc, or even be controlled by a rear based aircraft/ship/airbase/space. If we expect a CCA to go on a Phase 1 CAP to protect the island chains, a manned aircraft will probably not be in the FEB vicinity.

A WestPac war will not be a major air and sea war in the first phase as our forces in the combat zone will be vastly outnumbered by China's and probably suffer high casualties during the initial surprise attack. Both sides have too many long range smart weapons to allow mass transit of aircraft/ships inside the 1st island chain and it will take time for the US to mass enough combat power. During Phase 1, ship/aircraft survivors and incoming reinforcements will need to be kept out of ballistic missile range until they can safely approach the mainland in force.

CCA's have their place in Phase 1 as stealthy large, long range attack, AEW, ISR, etc. type aircraft that can attack the mainland, support other drone attacks and provide situational awareness of the area. China has all the cards with a huge area to disperse their combat forces from attack while we have only a few islands, but that is also their Achilles heel in trying to defend such a large area, as Russia has found out.

Submarines will take on a major attack roles, while B-2/21 stealth bombers, large long range Stealthy CCA/USV/UUV attack drones strike critical military and mainland targets. Ship and Landbased hidden, pre-positioned masses of LR kamikaze drone and cheap LR cruise missiles launched from a large arc from Japan to Vietnam will be hitting their island bases and mainland targets everywhere 24X7. These mass, ongoing attacks will be key to bringing the fight to them and the attrition of their combat power, logistics, POL, energy, mfgr.,etc, while  physically and psychologically wearing down their combat forces.

During this phase of force mobilization , we need to minimize losses of our own durable equipment and human causalities. When China's ability to fight has been sufficiently diminished to allow mass transit of our manned combat forces, Phase 2 will start with the Navy ships and manned aircraft bringing the fight to the mainland.

That's the reason why we wargame. We wargame to lose. Then we modify tactics and doctrine and do it again. It must be worth noting that America lost every wargame it fought... before Desert Storm.

They can’t even beat Iran and a bunch of mountain fighters in Yemen and they seek to destroy China? LMFAO what a laughable pipe dream 😂

كامل التوفيق لامريكا وحلفاؤها

Ground to air missiles go big boom. China many land, many missiles, many big boom ba da booms

I would point out that these Wargames are “supposed” to not go well. They intentionally set up difficult scenarios that they would struggle with in real life because that’s more helpful for the purpose of collecting data and figuring out counters to what the enemy might do.

If they just did scenarios where they were likely to win I then they’d be learning nothing and setting themselves up for failure.

How long would a carrior group survive this?

How about dropping bombs from orbit? Space X should be able to keep up with required payloads.

How about making those drones attached to the fighter. It needs bigger fighter but overall will result in cheaper drones.

The solution is quite simple: Air to air nuclear missile.
