Thank you, Linda. It's nice to hear another longtime respected professional from the media clearly lay out who was at fault here. As a Seahawks fan, I too was impressed with how Mike Macdonald has handled the fallout, but Graham Bensinger really did him dirty. Which is a real shame, because Macdonald seems like such a genuinely nice person who tries to be as accommodating and accessible as possible in how he deals with people. Ultimately though I think this is going to hurt Bensinger way more than it will Macdonald.

You are right.  How could anyone agree to be interviewed by this guy after this so called error in judgement

As an interviewer, he just made his own bed. See how many people agree to a sit down with this guy in the future. Don't burn bridges, because you may not like the fall out. Another thing though don't leak your dirty laundry with someone who can use it against you in the future.

Linda, you 've won my uttermost respect! It is deep breach of trust, and Graham knows better! Bravo to coach Mike! Thank you Linda!!

Bensinger just got Macklemore'd by MacD! LOL

MM’s Press Conferences now known as “Hot Mike Moments”

Thank you Linda.  Tbh, I've never knew about your channel, or followed your work previously, but your video popped up in my feed.  After watching it, I truly appreciate your take on the whole fiasco.  Integrity, accountability, and trust, are all lessons Graham should learn to abide by, because he certainly will have to earn all that back going forward. The thing that makes the rest of the Seahawks, and perhaps NFL, fanbase shaking their heads at is, now our coach is going to be so closed off that we don't get to see a honest interview anymore.  Kind of like why Beastmode stopped trusting the media and doing interviews while he was playing.

Actual journalism with standards & integrity vs “I like to talk and I love attention and to be heard so I guess I’m a journalist too!” Good on you Linda!

Every coach now will be very hesitant to trust that journalist.

Linda the GOAT is 100% correct.  This was a total lapse in judgement and complete break of trust, especially after Coach let him into his home for at least a full day and he AND HIS FAMILY spent so much of his limited free time with him in Seattle.  It's a real shame too because the actual interview was a great one and a great in depth piece on Coach. I just hope this doesn't make Coach Mike withdraw as it's been great to see his personality shine through more recently.

Integrity. Thank you Linda, for displaying it so that some may have an example!!

Such a great interview too. I haven’t seen my coach be this open before and now he probably will never be again

When Linda Effing Cohn uploads a video, I stop what I'm doing and click play. THANK YOU Linda for your take.

Love your journalistic HUMAN values! You should open a Journalist Boot Camp for young journalists!!

I would have thought Sean Payton was too busy putting a bounty out to injure his work colleagues to be worried about something so petty.

Excellent analysis from the legend.

Spot on linda, thanks for the interviewers perspective, i feel like this should be a friendly reminder to everyone that you are allways accountable for what you say, people allways are listening and can over hear what you say, at the job or day to day watch what you say, dont be afraid of being personal but allways know your audience. People can and will screw you over for no reason and especially to better them selfs, kinda sad he thought the story/attention/clicks would outway the hit to his credibility.

Thank you for this🙏✌️

Besinger knew exactly what he was putting out.   He wanted clicks, or views and that whole "cheat-gate" probably gave him a boost. Nobody was surprised by Sean Paytons actions.  MacDonald is a class act... so happy we have him at Seattle Seahawks. Thanks Linda for your opinions.

Don’t you think sending a clip to the Seahawks on Sept. 16th is a bit late ? The coaches, GM etc are completely focused on the season by then.
