Such a rare thing in life: He loves doing icebergs and we love watching icebergs. What a great win-win deal. I wish much more things were like that. I fucking love that channel!

Colossal needs to bring back Kauaʻi ʻōʻō. The last song of it singing is so haunting. The bird singing as the sun is setting, calling for another one of his kind with no answer. Its chilling and brings a sense of loneliness that i cannot properly express.

Funnily enough in the 70's I believe there was a dude on Texas who recorded audio of the woodpecker, and he distinctly know it was a call from the bird. However, it is also possible the call was from a bird mimicking the sound of the woodpecker, which could still mean there are still more woodpeckers for other birds to mimic but it's a interesting case none of the less.

14:00 I know for a fact that the picture you posted of a "sighting" of a Thylacine was a hoax, and was made by an artist named Archesuchus! He does incredible work and the piece in the picture was a full life sized plush! :) I followed him on twitter when all of that went down lmao

Im happy to report today completely unrelated to this video but also kinda? I live in East yorkshire and on my walk today I walked somewhere completely boring. The highlights of the walk was in the end when I was joking with my partner saying how I hate snakes and we walked in a grassy area, I then noticed something dark and long in a stream we were passing. I tried pointing it out to my boyfriend but noticed it had little legs. At that point I was jumping for joy and so so so happy. Cos what did I see? A newt. A crested newt. One of the most endangered newts in all of england. And i saw it. Its been a massive conservation for many many years but the fact I saw that little guy just chilling gave me so much hope

Small little addition to the Bison section: Camp Pendleton in California has around 100 wild bison on it. They’re protected on their to the point of if we’re doing training ops and a bison walks on our range we have to shut down until it decides to leave. We’re not allowed to try and scare it off or anything. If it wants to graze where we’re doing a machine gun range oh well it looks like it’s canceled.
