I had a vectra c estate for 16 years from 9 months old - I paid a third of the new price as motorpoint had bought a huge number of them until 2 years ago when I only changed it due to the net zero rubbish and that most manufacturers were discontinuing estate cars . the vectra was as excellent car with the peppy 1800 petrol engine , in those years I changed the condenser and the fan resistor 2 rear springs and routine maintenance only. I would have bought an insignia if it had still been available. its time this trend of suvs was reversed , when you go to spain or other continental Europe most cars are still proper cars not suvs

VAG group engines and gearboxes are not the most reliable out there and to claim they are is wrong
Auris Hybrid suffers from problems with Intelligent Power Module which reduces the models overall reliability
Mazda Sky Activ engines are prone to coolant leaks and carbon build up. The diesl version is one of the most problematic on the road
Honda Accord 1998-2005, 2008-2010, 2013, and 2014, which are known for problems like transmission failures and excessive oil consumption and are prone to rust
Honda Avensis reliability is built on the 2.0 litre diesel and 1.8 petrol only although the same diesel engine in the Lexus cause many problems leading to it being dropped

Skoda Octavias are not unpopular cars that sit at the back of car lots. i dont know if people who make this sort of video go out and check the prices. They are not cheap.
