The fact that she sent a letter to his mother shows she still doesn’t take any  responsibility in her actions . I DO NOT believe someone who has done something so sickening can be rehabilitated in 5 years if ever.
Emma I agree , I hope she lives with what she has done everyday .
I hope Stephen finds everyday a little bit easier  good luck to him 🙏🏻

It appears that Samantha's lust and passion for hurting Stephen was more powerful than her love for her babies ♥️💔☠️

I agree with Stephen, she knew exactly what she was doing. Evil woman. 5 years is disgraceful.

5 years for killing 2 innocent babies is disgusting, what is this country coming to?! I really hope she doesn’t have any more children, she doesn’t deserve them! RIP Chloe and Jake ❤ I hope Steven stays strong and is able to live his life with his new family despite his trauma and enjoy being a father again.

What an evil selfish individual. Killing babies because she can’t handle rejection. It was spite not ‘mental illness’. It’s not an excuse.

Getting out after 5 years is gut wrenching! That's only 2 and a half years for each child. That's not justice at all

She was easily able to murder her innocent babies but was too afraid to end her life?! What a POS

Someone who can murder their two babies then continue to torment their father should be in either prison or a psychiatric facility for the rest of their lives. You cannot be rehabilitated after killing babies, she is a danger to herself and others around her. I seriously pray she doesn't find her ex husband after she is released

5 years for each child.
You get more time for selling drugs. 😳

As a mother of three who has suffered from post natal depression and had suicidal thoughts i have no sympathy or empathy for this woman. Do you know what went through my head when I wanted to die? Not "oh I will kill my kids" not at all, it was "my kids will be better off with their dads and I want to die" there is absolutely no need to kill your children to end your own life! My eldest two are 15 and 11 and I have been separated from their dad for 10 years but he is a great dad and they have a happy loving home waiting with him and his partner and their half brother over there. My youngest I am with his dad and he is also great. These babies had a great father, she could have let him have the kids and taken her own life at any time. She did this purely out of spite and revenge imho.

I totally agree with the husband. He knows her. His assessment is spot on. She should have gotten 25 years

I'm sorry she didn't do this until she was alone she knew exactly what she was doing.  I agree wholeheartedly with Steven. I also hope him and his new family are protected from this woman .

She will never accept that those babies are dead because of her.  She will always blame Stephen.

My heart just breaks for Stephen. He knew well enough to get himself away from her but was unable to get his children away from her to safety. Her resentment, entitlement and absolute lack of accountability created this entire tragedy. And it's ENTIRELY unfair that she'll be out in society enjoying her freedom after stealing it from two absolutely beautiful, innocent angels that she was SO LUCKY to have brought into the world. Also, she's stolen Stephen's freedom to watch his children grow into adults and experience with them all of the milestones that parents celebrate.
Disgusting. Tragic. And absolutely diabolical.💔

That sentence was an insult to those poor babies,  and her getting out 5yrs early without spending a day in prison is abhorrent. Our justice system is a joke, and the mental health system failed abysmally.

She’s a evil evil woman, and the sentence she got is horrendous, I hope they put Stephen and his family in some kind of protection because I don’t think she’s done with torturing him and the idea of him having a new family will absolutely make her go berserk and she will try hurting him again

I know the UK are way too lenient when it comes to sentencing women. I'm honestly surprised she didn't get Community Service!  I've been here a long time (having moved over from the USA in 2000 )  and I am still stunned by the legal system . What a totally mean and vindictive woman she is. Another "entitled" and "it's all about me" person.  Horrible  Horrible crime. She should have gotten at least 25 years.  SMH.

That one photo of her looking at the camera is creepy! I hope Steven is far away from where she is! I lost my daughter at 14 she took her life in 96 I also lost my husband when he took his life in front of me whither a gun in 2010. Suicide doesn't hurt them it hurts the living! England has some of the most softest laws for what we call here in the USA  felonies!  Sometimes I get angry here when people get 50 years with a minimum of 25! But for her to murder her 2 babies and destroy so many lives and get out so easily! Shame on the court system! Maybe they should take off the wigs so they can think!

It’s disgusting that she’s potentially getting out. Them poor babies! As someone that has suffered with severe PND and suicidal ideation and still 5 years later take my daily medication and speak to my GP every 2/3 months to make sure I’m still on top of my mood, I never dreamt of hurting my boys. I often had family help with them on my worse days. They’re the reason I’m still here. They’re the reason I push on and keep taking my meds to keep me balanced.

I can NOT give her empathy, she deserves life in prison. She could of told her parents how she was feeling and the children would of been safe and alive. Instead she took them away all because her life was falling to shit and she’d lost control.

She will never feel bad for what she did. If she's a Narcissist then she has no conscience or empathy. This legal system is an absolute joke. She should rot in prison for the rest of her life. Absolutely disgusting. I hope Stephen finds some peace in his life and that his baby is protected. May he experience true love and happiness and may his beautiful little baby boy and girl Rest in Peace. xx 🙏🏼❤️❤️
