I don't get it. If Mephisto was behind Cynthia and Ultimate Reed, what was the point of showing the reader Cynthia being counceled by the disembodied voice of Ultimate Reed earlier on? There was no one else around, so it's just Mephisto playing hand puppets? 41:40
