My jaw dropped multiple times during my first listen. It’s really cool when a band finally steps out of their comfort zone and nails it.

Bird and The Serpent is incredible, especially the ending.

Check out their third album "Our love to admire" LOVE that album.

So Rides the Reindeer is phenomenal.

This album is gorgeous 🖤 what a comeback for the band

This album is sooo goood!

This is a return to form. This is their best album since Antics probably. Album #3 Our Love to Admire also very strong

It’s a fantastic album man, it’s called progression! Die hard fans like me will love it, anyone else not so much. Can’t keep making albums that sound like TOTBL over and over, move on people 🤷🏻‍♂️

You must react to Dummy by Portishead, it's a no-skip 10/10 album and nothing sounds like it

Long time Interpol fan, randomly found the first cd a local library in college, have seen them in concert multiple times.
I love this track, it reminds me of the music from High on Life.

Amazing to see you listening to this album.
I had the amazing chance of going to a concert of theirs in the day the album released and it was such a good experience, both the album and the concert.

I liked a lot Muse, The Warning and others' albums but this one is so nice. Not random that this is my favorite band by a long shot.

I'm now only very excited for Stray Dogs, the new album by Nothing But Thieves, and Monarch, the new album by Dead Poet Society. These will release soon and the singles have been awesome too. Hope they follow the trend cuz rock music in general has been doing amazing this year.

There's nothing like their 3 first albums for me. "Emotionally evocative" as you say. Incredible music. 'Pioneer To The Falls' is a gut-wrenching opus and tragically magnificent as a heartfelt symphonic tribute sadly based on the woman who inspired it.

This is very much a return to form. They've been lackluster for a decade or so until this. Their third album "Our Love To Admire" is definitely around the same ball park as antics for me, I personally love it.

Great album! 😍

This album is actually something. Very washed out version of Interpol dissolve into some Tricky Massive Attack sound design. Straight to the feelings album.

Hey! I've been avoiding your reaction because of the title. As a metal head myself I was like ok hes gonna hate it. And then I watched the first two minutes of your intro and was like ok hes gonna love it literally paused the video to say this. Will respond after reviewing but my point is don't judge a book by it's cover. I'm ready. Let's go 🎉

the first song really reminds me of "We Know Who U R" by Nick Cave and the Bad seeds.  best Interpol record in years

Long time Interpol fan here ever since I saw the video on MTV for Obstacle 1, then bought the album.  Their sound changed since bassist Carlos D left after their self titled album..which is very dark. 'Success' is their darkest beautiful song imo.  Nothing will compare to the energy of the first 2 albums but they have some real gems in the later ones.  'El Pintor' is my second favorite album of theirs after TOTBL.  Glad to hear you my friend carrying on their legacy.  Seen them live 5 times but the best was just after Antics came out in '06 at the Paramount in Seattle...closed with 'Leif Erickson' and left the crowd speechless

Turn On The Bright Lights is their best. 2000’s classic
