I remember this as being shown as an afternoon repeat on ITV - in the days when daytime television was more diverse and stimulating. It is quite an intriguing concept. It's unfortunate that Thames didn't at least go through the entire zodiac of astrological signs, normally they were very good at allowing series an extended run.

As an astrologer in the '70's, I appreciate the depiction of how charts were studied at that time. Loads of notes, reference books, comparable charting i.e. charts everywhere, a thorough knowledge of astronomy and time, experience and intuition. Well done.

More Anton! Love him, and I'm grateful to you once more, Alan. Hope you're well and looking forward to Christmas.

I have this on DVD and watch it often. Its a shame they stopped short of the full 12 signs. But this one is an excellent start - Gimli being nefarious!

Mmmm... I can see I'm going to enjoy this series. Settling in for the next few episodes. Thanks for posting.

Brilliant, I loved this the first  time around and will enjoy it again.  I love  watching Anton Rodgers. I also enjoyed watching Anouska Hempel, but it seemed she didn't stay an actress for long.  Thanks again for posting.

Watched this as a 13 year old

Anouska Hempel was gorgeous. A  natural beauty, before silicone, botox, piercings and manky tattoos came along.

The wit itself was worth its weight in gold.
Everything else is a bonus.

I remember watching this aged 7 and being quite horrified by the dead body. I think it was the easy listening music that made it more disturbing.

I enjoyed that quick fire script.

Thanks, never seen this.

Great film.really enjoyed  it. Great acting.thank you

I've never seen this show. I guess they didn't have it on my local PBS station back then.
And I agree with Londonfogey, Anouska Hempel was very beautiful. Hard to believe she'll be 85 in December but it's great she's still with us.

Thanks very much.

Interesting how, even in the 70s, they were still using old school ties as a shorthand for describing the characters.
