"Young Frankenstein" reaction available on Movie Munchies today 😇😍 https://youtu.be/DWTlnan9v8o

"Have you ever seen such cruelty  ?"

That line will never NOT be funny

Mel Brooks is Jewish. He was also in WW2 as a combat engineer.  As Europe was liberated from the Nazis, he saw the horrors of the concentration camps. He was shocked by the hatred he witnessed and the best way to combat hatred was with comedy. I saw BLAZING SADDLES when it came out and not only did it make people laugh but it also exposed the absurdity of bigotry. BLAZING SADDLES accomplished everything Mel Brooks wanted to accomplish. It is a national treasure.

Asian Angels doing Blazing Saddles is the most unexpected thing ever. I am here for it lol

Tien just losing her shit at the end was so beautiful :face-green-smiling::face-blue-smiling:

In an interview Mel Brooks was told that you can't make this movie today. Mel Brooks replied , they told us we couldn't make this movie in 1974 and we made it anyway.  No ethic group or sect of society was safe in this movie , there were jokes about everybody everybody. The best thing about this movie was that it was anti racist , it showed how silly racist people sound. I saw this movie when I was about seven or eight years old. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did and still do 😂

Oh dang, I didn't realize this movie was 50 years old until you mentioned it, lol.

That bean scene was the first time anyone farted on screen ever, truly groundbreaking stuff lol

The PURPOSE of this movie was to MAKE FUN of racism and you did an EXCELLENT JOB of avoiding that!!

I love that you loved Lily Von Schtupp. Madelyn Kahn was an amazing actress. May she rest in peace.

Tien:  "She fall for him, he has a gift!"   😂

"Dracula, dead and loving it" is another AWESOME Mel Brooks  movie 👍😊😊😊

This is one of those movies where even if someone tells you what to expect, you'll never be ready for it. Mel Brooks is one of most iconic comedy directors of all time.

OMG. I've never seen Tien laugh so hard! That was the best reaction!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

The biggest star of the whole cast.
The one and only Count Basie and his band.

You are the first reactors I have seen who immediately understood what was going on when they panned out to the studio lot and then the sound stage.

I was 11 when this first released, saw it in the theater.  I still remember how loud the laughter was from the audience.  It never gets old, even after watching dozens of times.  It is such a brilliant film, hats off to Mr. Brooks and the whole team.  Ladies, your reactions were priceless, thanks so much for doing this one (and "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN")!

Mel Brooks never misses. He is the definition of the word Mensch, which is a Yiddish word derived from Middle High German. Yiddish was spoken by European Jews before WW2 and some of it still remains in the speech of American Jews who emigrated from Europe. It means a person of integrity and honor. He understood that you can't fight hate with hate. You fight it with ridicule and laughter.

I love how the blond describes information. Shes to adorable. Lol

One of 20 movies in my wheelhouse for regular rewatch.  in fact it's one of the comedies I watch over and over, and over again to more than 100 watches each.
