You just reminded me of the subtle things loved in this game... music score,  gratifying low distant "boom" sound while successfully hitting castle wall with catapult.

1986 truly was a magical year...Lazer tag was first introduced, G1 transformers was still airing, demolition ax and smash first appeared in the WWF...and ..any and everything C64!  The greatest gaming system...ever made!!!

Djeezus...i played this on my CM64 for hours/days/nights....played till bedtime and when my parents were asleep i stood up again and continued playing 🙂very very addictive!

There was this bug that when you had a single opponent left, you could stab his horse in a joust and you would loose all your territories. However, the bot would then just focus on conquering these empty territories and you could move to his home castle and win.
