Jamie I adore your videos but I feel like we’ve lost the plot a little. I’m a student of your channel because I’m here to learn how to plan my wedding, not watch reaction videos… I’d rather spend my time learning than watching you read reddit posts or react to tik toks. 😢

I need you to react to the show Don't Tell the Bride. The grooms get 1 month to plan the wedding and the bride gets no input

“If your groom is naked, does it matter if it’s official or not?”
Jamie Wolfer, asking the important questions here. 😂😂😂

If i was going to do a getting ready outfit, I'd use it as an excuse to get a super fancy, plush, long robe that i would wear a ton

Cheap, easy centerpieces that took me 20 minutes - bought a bunch of potted flowers in full bloom from Home Depot, popped them in beautiful planters in my wedding colors, BANG done! And I took them all home and planted them in my garden after the wedding.

My sister did one better on your bnb tip. She also held the wedding there and stayed for 2 days after. And she ordered extra servings from the caterers so she could eat that for the next few days. It was an air bnb for large groups who typically hosted reunions, parties, and weddings. The post wedding clean up and break down happened at an easy pace, and they continued to enjoy a great location. Rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and honeymoon all in one.

At least no one says "I need to find a groom." 😁

Meanwhile I got engaged, we set the date 18 months out, and I immediately joined Jamie’s Master Plan! My type A self could NEVER!

Wait... People who elope need to make plans and have guests? I thought getting eloped you just went and secretly married.

Seeing Jamie slowly sliding into madness is so much fun, but at the same time I am so concerned for her mental health 😂

Oh, Jamie, I’m so sorry you lost your engagement ring! There is hope! Do you remember the carrot that got pulled out of a woman’s garden that was misshapened because it grew through her engagement ring? That could be you one day!! Again, I’m so sorry.

Im single and have no friends or family getting married so why is your channel so interesting to me?

@user-es2bh1rt8e 10 months ago

you mentioning the airbnb reminded me of a request for a video! could you please react to the bride that GOT KICKED OUT of airbnb ON HER WEDDING DAY? 🙏🏻

@catrinlewis939 10 months ago

Funny what people call an elopement these days. Used to be, it was sneaking the bride out her 2nd story bedroom window and running off to Las Vegas or Gretna Green.

@rachelsmith298 10 months ago

Am I a happily married person of 20+ years, yes. Am I here watching tips and tricks for absolutely no reason, also yes.

Also, I don't think that last bride actually wants a big wedding.

@oakleaf3000 10 months ago

Maybe this is just me being young and not having kids, but I honestly don't understand getting people gifts for YOUR wedding? Especially not when you're buying those last-minute? It makes perfect sense to do something to thank the people who helped you out the most with your wedding, but I feel like it's more heartfelt as an actual thank-you after the fact than as a last minute present when you're way more focused on actual wedding logistics. If it was me, I'd much rather be taken out to brunch or something a couple weeks after the fact

13:41 Have to give a teeny bit of pushback over the finalization for the violinist thing. It depends on what is being finalized, but if it’s details about the actual music being played, musicians appreciate time to practice said details/changes! I practice a LOT before any type of gig, and any changes rely on me remembering them and executing them well, the more practice the better! There are certainly changes I would have to politely decline making if it was too close to the day-of because I would not be able to guarantee executing them well. I think sometimes people assume professional musicians don’t still have to practice before performing. If I’m just sight-reading Canon in D, sure. Whatever. lol. It depends on the complexities. I would want to know how/what I’m doing with time to practice.

@cadrina2000 10 months ago

i feel that if in 2 months you dont even have the place booked, the wedding is either happening in city hall or is happening in 4 months

@Emc45530 10 months ago (edited)

I was a type A bride (200+ row workback plan started 1 year before our date) but I didn’t do gifts for family (mom, mother in law, grandma) before the wedding.

What I did instead, and they loved: I made a photo album in Shutterfly using wedding photos after the wedding and gave the same one to all three of them with slight variations in family photos 😊 it’s efficient and effective!

Is it obvious I work in operations 🤣

I just found a venue where I live that has tiny homes set up along with the main house and all the onsite wedding venues like a ceremony and reception spaces AND get ready rooms for both sides and a honeymoon suite for the wedding night. Ten people can stay onsite NOT counting the bride and groom. They have their own spots.AND they wanna do the main clean up after- “So I know it’s done right” all the food and flowers and rentals are included in the price… amazing.
