The difference in skill and knowledge between someone who is just doing a job and someone who has dedicated themselves to a career they care about in is unbelievable. This is the type of quality we don't get to see anymore in our fast paced profit driven world and that hurts.

I'd be tempted to do a flush prior to running the fracked water through the filter.

We had this, they drilled with a pneumatic drill, and a fountain was beating from the neighbors' well and all the dirt went to the neighbors.

The neighbors house system also got a 650 psi test. The downside of wells communicating with each other, most probably not the entire 650 psi but enough pressure to unseat the well seal which is supporting the entire column of water.

I've had my share of experience with the "in one hole and out the other" concept.... usually at Taco Bell

I wouldn't be surprised if the hydraulic hose expands ever so slightly and becomes shorter as you inflate the bung.

Always enjoy watching your videos . Had a vacant lot in an area in Baltimore county Md. which is notorious for low yielding or dry wells. This lot had 15 dry holes and finally we got a 1.25 gpm drilled well. The neighbor decided to zone frack his well so he could use a constant pressure system on his house. I went up to watch the frack procedure and as I got close there was a loud boom and the well cap on my well blew off 100' in the air and was tumbling back to the ground. That frack dumped 150' of  sediment in my well. The well had to be redrilled back to the 500' depth and only yielded .21 gpm after being simultaneously tested with the neighbors well. They drilled another well that only got .01 gpm so they fracked my original well and it wound up with 2.5gpm after all that while testing it on its own.  . So now no well can be fracked closer than  100' to another well . The formation is shist  and is soft and yields very little water and will not produce a successful well when single packer fracked and is subject to collapse when zoned fracked as the pressure in each zone will go up to 3000+psi . Different areas have different regs and different formations so different techniques need to be used. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for sharing this and explaining all this. I've never heard of fracking related to a water well. You guys really have a lot of experience with geology.

its crazy how different wells are up north. You do that in a well in texas you're immediately blowing out the other well if its that close.

I'm working on a couple of big boreholes at the moment, 1000 us gal/min each. You turn one on/off and the level in the other one goes up/down by 60ft. We think they are connected by a big crack in the rock. I suspect this happens a lot more than we realise, we only saw it because the wells are so big they are both fully instrumented.
