That 2018 live version at Zepp Tokyo is RockAF.  In fact, the whole concert was!

World Domination is just an awesome album all around.

The Maids never disappoint. This is a new song for me. I keep wanting to dive deeper into the Band Maid Pigeon Hole, but I keep getting stuck in a loop of songs that I have already found. So, the going is slow. I'm pretty okay with that though.

What a great song - so Band Maid. They are so unique. I’d forgotten about this song. Thanks Matt!

Pick any Band-Maid song, you will not be disappointed!  I'll put a blanket request for all of them!  Band-Maiko has just one original song, "Gion-Cho" and is special!

"Carry on living" is one of my favourite B-M songs. Although it was written as the closing theme for a short-animated series on a regional TV station (‘Quiz Tokiko-san’), I think it’s a masterpiece that encapsulates the essence of BAND-MAID’s charm at that time.
Unfortunately, however, as this song has recently become a very rare track at their live shows, a deafening roar of cheers erupts in the venue whenever this wonderfully memorable intro suddenly begins.
I believe the guitar solo section is also one of KANAMI’s finest pieces of work. As proof of this(?) the striking ascending motif in her signature octave technique, which appears partway through, is reused exactly as it was 一一 albeit in a different key 一一 at the climax of Her solo part (and the special battle with MISA during the later live performance) of ‘HATE?’.

Great reaction and since the culture in Japan is "do your best", Band-Maid rehearses relentlessly to achieve a live sound that is as close to the studio version as possible (mistakes will not be tolerated). But the main composer, Kanami, has stated that her songs are really not complete until they are played live.  Also, "maiko" is generally pronounced like "MY koh".   I think that Miku (who loves Kyoto) created Band-Maiko not only as an April fools joke, but on a deeper pun-level - since a maiko is an apprentice geisha, who is training to serve as an entertainer to their customers, the same as Band-Maid are like entertainers in a maid cafe.

Carry On Living, cause YOLO! 🕊️💚

Great song.

It's Kanami's Birthday today (28th)🎂🥳.

Pick a song. Any Band-Maid song, any genre -- instrumental or with vocals – acoustic or electric. It’ll be a SURPRISE, JOYFUL, and a total WINNER!!!!! 🥇 🤘😂🎀 Thx, Matt!

From the Band-Maiko album, "Screaming" is one of my favorites. It's an audio only but it's well done.

Band-Maiko will be great. The OMV of Secret MY lips uses footage from the 1/9/17 Akasaka BLITZ concert so it is sorta live but not really synced.

Maiko is (My-Co)
