I feel like my problem is that I love most of my clothes but I don't have enough closet space, most needs to be stored away so its hard to create outfits

What I do sometimes is put them in an "archive bin" for a few month or even a few seasons and if I really don't miss it after that time period I get rid of them.
It's basically a trial run for living without those clothes.

CAUTON with throwing stuff out. I went through a divorce and tossed or left stuff to move and now you cannot find those quality pieces - esp great fabric. If you're in a hasty or emotional place, might be best to WAIT......I regret it!

Also for socks and T shirts that get holes and worn out you can cut them up and use them as rags for cleaning. My family did that since I was young. We had a big rag box where we collected them. And when I was little I would use the ones with pretty patterns to make clothes for my toys.

I keep socks without a match, i just mix and match, i can wear them in winter with boots, so nobody sees the socks anyways

I've lost a lot of weight over the past 6 months and pulling out clothes that used to be too small makes me so happy--I'm shopping my own closet. The sad thing is that now some clothes that I still love and that were already oversized are just huge. I think I will have to store a few of those things, just in case.

4:01 ❤❤thank you for this tip for storing “at-home” clothes separate from my wardrobe. I did not put them in my Indyx, but still had them in my wardrobe and it made getting dressed harder. When I moved them to the bottom drawer, I felt lighter, dressier, and looked forward again to getting dressed every morning!!❤❤
