The figure of Jesus of Nazareth, known in Islam as ʿĪsā ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary) and honored with the honorific Alayhi al-Salam (AS) ("Peace be upon him"), stands at one of the most critical theological intersections in human history. For over fourteen centuries, Islamic Christology has offered a unique, robust paradigm that bridges absolute monotheism with profound veneration for Jesus. An "apology" in the classical theological sense (apologia) is not an expression of regret, but a reasoned defense of a belief system. This treatise provides a defense of the Quranic narrative of Jesus, demonstrating how the Islamic view satisfies both the demands of divine revelation and the principles of sound reason, while resolving the historical and metaphysical paradoxes that have perplexed Christian councils for millennia.
