welp, you were right on Mr. Sinister

The case for Sinister basically writes itself with him being the one major X-villain who's been teased across multiple Fox movies without ever actually showing up, which means audiences have zero baggage and maximum curiosity. That's a rare position for any character to be in.

[Nando pitches Sinister again]

Everybody: 😮

Glad to see Nando got the F. D. Signifier thumbnail artist

Hellfire Club as a stand in for oligarchs/supremacists could do numbers.

Sinister would open up a ton of doors for follow ups though.

Who's here after Adam Driver was announced to play Mr. Sinister last night?

Mister sinister. I won’t accept any other answers

Sinister. Basically the most important villain they haven’t tried yet. Could help introduce new audiences to X-genes or whatever, as well as the historical nature of the franchise (if you want to do flashbacks of his origin and maybe tease Apocalypse). I feel like holding off on Magneto and Mystique would be a plus. Build them up on the side or hold for the future.

We need the Shadow King to just come up in every villain speculation video from now on. He's the next Mephisto

Edit- Yes people I do know that the FX show Legion exists and yes it does indeed slap (except when it doesn't but yk)

31:08 I can only believe that Mystique killed a very small person (but not as small as Ant-Man) and wears their skull as a trophy.

Feels like my girl kitty pryde is never getting into another piece of X-men media again 😞😞😞😞

Mr Sinister to me feels like the best pick as the first villain of the MCU X-Men movie.
Not only is he a great villain with a deviously theatrical style with so much charm and charisma to him, with a motivation to perform disturbing experiments and study Mutants like his personal guinea pigs, but he also has a personal fascination for Cyclops and Jean as he believes their genetics could create the perfect Mutant thus you could explore Cyclops's rivalry with Sinister and how Sinister played a role in forging Scotts life in order to eventually use him and Jean.
I think that would be the best way to not only explore Cyclops's character on a deeper level on the big screen, but also introduce audiences to a new villain we haven't seen before in an X-Men movie.

Btw, I also think Tom Ellis (aka Lucifer) would be perfect casting to play Mr Sinister in live action

This thumbnail art made me immediately want to lobby for Wagner Moura being cast as Mr Sinister.

krakoa being the solution to necrosha in a second or third movie would be sick af

most importantly of all, sinister has a distinct and iconic design that's memorable, now that comic book movies actually try with their designs and outfits he can be done justice

33:48 I think the best way to have Magneto early on is as a rival to Professor X versus full blown villain. That way he's introduced due to his importance in the X-Men mythos but doesn't overshadow the actual threat

I thought FD Signifier was making an X-Men video when I saw the thumbnail 💀

So Nando actually is Kevin Feige's assistant

26:03 Footloose was a pretty Gangster Sebastian Shaw.

My personal hope is that we have traditional Stryker as a main villain, magneto as a 3rd party but he doesn’t go out of his way to fight the X-men as he’s trying to be more understanding, and maybe toss in a few other villains as fuel for Stryker’s campaign. Save sinister for when the teams been in a few movies first
