I love, love, love the neon green hair 😍. I don’t know how I skipped past it last week but it’s fabulous 😎

Love the Tuxedo Mask feel of Angel so far:
"My job here is done!"
"But you didn't do anything?"
Swishes cape, disappears.

Truly and deeply appreciating your instant love for the show, and realizing not just how much potential it has, but also how good it actually was.

season 1 and 4 are my comfort seasons despite the fandom's general feelings about them.

⚠️ Buffy IS a campy show. campy does not mean bad. actually, camp is supposed to be purposefully made that way. what you probably meant is the show isn't corny/kitschy.

also Buffy is definitely a serious show but you couldn't possibly know that after only two episodes so I forgive you.

Again considering this show is now 29 years old it still has amazing appeal. Great to see your positive reactions to only the first two episodes. You will become engrossed by it, and have such empathy with these brilliant characters. Here we can see Buffy's true power where she defeats Luke and The Master in their plan, and saves the day. It was a great follow up to the opener, and just gets better and better as it goes on. S1 does have a wonderful charm about it. Love Giles at the end of this one, 'Doomed' indeed.

I love your youthful energy! I can tell this will be a fun ride for all of us!

Its so fun to watch it again with you guys❤

More Buffy please ❤🏹

25:08 'He bears this symbol' That's Mercedes Benz car manufacturer symbol!

Episode 1+2 I remember showing back to back as the pilot episode when it first aired.

Y'all are great. I'm here for the ride. 🤘🏻

"If the apocalypse comes, beep me!"

"That's my bitch right there" 😂😂😂

This is a great reaction and a fun channel. Definitely keep up the Buffy.

I think it's important to know that Buffy was written as fantasy Sci Fy teen dramedy, with the essence of real.life concerns that anyone her current age would also face. Joss did this by making the real life challenges actual demons. So in eps 1 and 2 we have Buffy facing her real life issues (new kid at school, trying to navigate friendships and who to trust, trying to not disappoint her mom by "falling in with the bad crowd", etc) this portrayed in finding new friends but also in the vampires. Buffy is making the right friends (Willow and Xander) but having to fight her old demons (vampires) while also facing the change of who she was, (meeting Cordelia who basically is who Buffy was at her old highschool, head cheerleader, most popular, superficial, etc but realizing Willow was the better choice of the path she wanted to go down). As you continue to watch keep in mind of lot the episodes use  demons/ villains/ fantasy to portray real life struggles that people go through and how the choices you make can lead you down good and bad paths.

The first few episodes were scored by Walter Murphy, but Christophe Beck took over later in the season, and continued to be the main series composer through season 4, when he switched to doing movie scores (which pay better). Joss would bring Beck back in later seasons when he wanted something special.

🤣 Y'all are a blast! Please keep the Buffy reactions coming!

“If you die what happens?” glances at the Buffy reboot comics from the late 2010s: Um… clears throat. Good thing he… didn’t…

I AM Still enjoying Buffy. Buffy is iconic for the writing and how many shows incorporated this style of banter, but something I really appreciate from this show is the outfits and hair styling, and I'm glad the Space Cowgirls do too.

Love your reactions, espacially that you do a few predictions and give thoughts on the episode afterwards!
