I lived in Mousehole in the mid 70`s at Penlee Cottage. An amazingly wonderful place , i remember the storms and waves, I watched the Scillonian pass by every morning, and after moving briefly to Helston, i left to return to the rat race, then the  terrible news that The Solomon Brown had gone down, with those we knew from The Ship Inn. Brave Men.  Wish i still lived there, with the storms. Thank you for showing the great vid. x

I am a couple of miles inland from Looe but never left the house yesterday especially after being almost submerged on flooded roads going to Liskeard Tuesday.

I am always amazed that people park their vehicles where the waves can break over them! There are rocks carried in some of these waves!
