The prophetic books can feel like a wall of judgment, strange visions, foreign empires and disconnected predictions. But Isaiah through Malachi belong to one unfolding biblical story.

In this video, we walk through all 17 prophetic books in the Protestant Old Testament grouping — Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel and the Twelve Minor Prophets — and explain the one thing each book adds to the larger story.

You’ll see how the prophets move through covenant failure, Assyria and Babylon, Jerusalem’s fall, exile, return, the new covenant, a new heart and Spirit, the coming king, justice for the nations and the still-unfinished hope that leads into the New Testament.

This is not an end-times codebook. It is a clear map for understanding why the prophets say what they say, how the books fit together, and why their message matters for reading the rest of the Bible.
