Love this thank you. Still having a blast with this spec. The hoarding cores before apex wasn't something I had considered (oops)

Thank you this did a great job at introducing me to the spec so that I can learn rotation nuance with a strong core understanding of the interactions. 👍

Solid guide bro. Appreciate how you broke it down in a cohesive manner.

Thanks for this! I feel like I learned quite a bit about Implosion nuance. If I could make a suggestion: a video on ritual clipping? I've read about it on the warlock discord but I'm not sure I've got it right. I think it'd be helpful to watch/see it and especially if someone could explain it. I don't think any other creator has a video out about it yet.

Great guide.
What about a guide with more advanced tips such as mamaging the DI stacks effectively

@rebornlol 1 month ago

Thanks for the guide. Can you make a video that covers Demo tips for each raid fight? Ideal times to use cds, helpful uses of portal and gateway, etc. Maybe a video like this for different dungeons as well. Maybe there’s one this season where banish is worth picking up, or where a gateway can be used as a good skip.

is it possible to get the cooldown manager layout code?

@malipi96 1 month ago

First off, amazing video, really enjoyed watching it!

For the min-max enjoyers out there, there's one small optimization regarding Diabolic Ritual tracking that's worth highlighting:

Managing Hand of Gul'dan vs. Shadow Bolt near the end of a Ritual cycle.

Since casting Hand of Gul'dan reduces the remaining Ritual cooldown by 3 seconds, sending a HoG when the Ritual timer has <= 3 seconds left wastes that CDR value.

The Tech:
• If you are at 3 Soul Shards and the Ritual has under 3 seconds left, instead of sending HoG immediately, cast 1-2 Shadow Bolts to build up to 5 Shards.
• This lets the Ritual naturally finish its CD/proc, instantly starting the new 20s cycle, after you cast HoG.
• You then send your 3-Shard HoG into the newly reset cycle, immediately shaving off 3 seconds from the fresh 20s CD down to 17s.

You see high-parsing players (Babybrain is a great example, with youtube videos of the kills) do this precise shard banking on openers and long raid encounters to maximize total demon summons over a fight.

Great guide overall, keep up the awesome content!

Best demo guide

I just want to point out that it is true that implosion is unrelyable for the extension of cores but dogs aren't. Using the despawn to extend from pack to pack can really seperate the good demos from the bad. Also, you can 90% of the time have 2 cores minimum going into tyrant with dog cores. The only moments you cant do that are long travel times between packs or RP moments in keys. Nice beginner guide for the patch!
