Sara is a mother who has endured great hardship. Driven from her previous rental home by family conflicts, she had found refuge only in the mountains—a homeless mother sleeping under the cold sky, facing each new day with fear and anxiety. Amidst these trying times, a kind operator who had been closely following her plight could not bear to see her suffer any longer and resolved to find her shelter by any means necessary.

The operator made tireless efforts, knocking on many doors, until finally, a villager agreed to take Sara in—but on one condition: Sara had to perform a few tasks in return. Having long forgotten the comfort of a warm, safe home, Sara moved from the mountains to the villager's house, her heart filled with hope. She completed the requested chores and, for the first time in ages, slept in a soft, warm bed—a night that felt like a dream to a lonely, destitute mother.

The next morning, when the operator arrived to check on her, she found Sara busy cleaning the room. Concerned for her well-being, the operator had brought along some supplies and food. But Sara had bitter news: the homeowner had informed her the previous night that she had to leave that very day, as the house belonged to the villager's brother and she was not permitted to stay any longer. Yet, Sara offered no complaints or grievances. The homeowner had asked her to wash a rug before leaving, and out of gratitude for the shelter she had been given, Sara willingly agreed to do whatever was asked of her.  Sara first cleaned the room, washed the dishes, and cooked a hot meal using the ingredients the operator had brought. Meanwhile, the landlady—who had some fabric and wanted to sew covers for her cooking pots—realized that Sara also possessed sewing skills. She brought out the fabric and asked Sara to make the covers. Sewing them took hours, yet Sara patiently completed the task. Afterward, once the meal was ready, she sat down to eat—a meal that was perhaps the most enjoyable she had tasted after days of hardship and hunger.

One final task remained. Sara went out to the courtyard and began washing a rug—an arduous job that took hours and left her hands aching. Yet, she persevered and finished the work. Then, she returned to the room, gathered her belongings, and—with a heavy heart—bid farewell to the room that had sheltered her for just two nights before leaving.
