This one got me. DCS got me flying airplanes for real. Now, at 45, I’m a flight instructor about to apply to the airlines. It all started with DCS. Gonna miss him. His appearances on your channel were some of my favorite interviews. I can honestly say he played a huge role in changing my life through his work.
Spent countless of hours with him. Every failures, all my acomplishments. He was there with me. He never know me. But for me he was a mentor, an instructor and a friend. He genuinely thaught me things and I genuinely learned them. Thanks Wags for everything. Will surely miss you. Rest in love.
I was 13 when i started playing in 2020 that game drove my passion and im now an officer in the army about to start my flying to hopefully get on the apache which i once flew relentlessly, thanks wags for all!
Wags is the most clear example of someone being irreplacable I've ever seen in a community or a buisness in my life. There will never be anyone who can fill his shoes.
I loved that when he was on the show and a kid would say they are saving up for dcs he would give out modules. He always listened to people's questions even though the DCS community is almost as caustic as the star wars community.
RIP WAGS, whether you believe or not, You earned your wings, heaven welcomed you with open arms and a warm smile, free from all pain and heavy thoughts, finally soaring high and light, May you find endless peace.
What an amazing tribute to an amazing person. I’m still tearing up every time I think about him being gone, and I never even had a conversation with the guy. DCS will never be the same without him but his legacy will live on through DCS and the many podcasts like yours that he appeared on. Thanks for everything, Wags. ❤
His impact on gaming is right up there with Kojima and Miyamoto and other giants in the gaming industry IMHO. More gaming channels and gaming media should recognize that.

Wags was a good friend and even better human being. The world is truly a lesser place without him.
