Armenia was actually the first officially Christian country. They belong to the same denomination as the Copts in the Oriental Orthodox Church, but have their own autocephalous churches within that denomination.

Fun Fact: Before Genghis Khan, Mongolia was predominantly populated by Turkic speaking Nestorian Christians like Naimans, Uyghurs, Ongud and Kerait tribes

Always fascinating to get these detailed reactions Drew, thank you ❤

The Kerait were at least nominally Nestorian Christians. Their conversion to Christianity at the beginning of the 11th century was recorded by Bar Hebraeus who wrote that "a nation from the nations of the Turks inhabiting the interior of the country towards the East called Kerit, believed in Christ, and were instructed in the faith and baptized through a miracle that happened to their king." In the West, there has been a legend about a Presbyter John who is said to be the King of Kerait.

Fact :  Christianity arrived in India well before it established in Europe

the spread of christianity within the roman empire is a mircale God bless

St Herman of Alaska holdin it up in Alaska, epic saint

Constantinople wasnt renamed to Instanbul until Ataturk, it was just known as Constantinople in Turkish during the Ottoman Empire.

10:03 they didn’t rename Constantinople, in fact, they did quite the opposite, they pretended to be the Romans! Istanbul actually means “the city” and because Constantinople was one of the biggest cities in Europe, the name “The City” stuck

Fun fact The church of the east was considerd "nestorians" though they wernt, it was a misconception in the early church that made them considerd Nestorians, In the past few decades the Church of the east and the Vatican or the catholic church has Made up.

I kinda clicked wondering if you would talk about Arianism

The Gesta Francorum praises the Turkish army's bravery and superhuman efforts at Dorylaeum. It states "Had the Turks been Christian, they would have been the finest of races."

The apostles spreading the word right when the Roman Empire was beginning to enter its peak is not a coincidence. I’m pretty sure there’s like a really tiny sliver of time that Jesus would have had to be crucified for everything to work out as perfectly as it did, lo and behold He was crucified exactly in that window (at least as scholars predict He was)

Christianity also in Taiwan until today after 1800s. Spain and Holland here before, and they brought Taiwan gods. Most of the aboriginal people here actually believe gods. And that plays an important role in Taiwan. Missionary also brings Taiwan modernized hospitals. Those hospitals still name after “Christianity”. Like Changhua Christianity hospital.
