I would've strangled Chris for pulling this amateur preparation stunt and then leaving me with only a handful of warmers compared to how many he used. Poor Connor, I sympathised with him the moment we all understood how badly planned this was 😂

Having camped and organised camps for a good 20 years of my life I can totally empathise with Connors reaction to the camping provisions

I thought we wouldn't see Natsuki again till the end of the trip, this is a pleasant surprise!

Yup. It normally takes one night sleeping in the cold and you start being very well-versed in all kinds of winter camping gear. Shout out to our boy Connor, building the tents and keeping the fire going!

I love how Ryotaro's immediate reaction to the kei car is "what the fuck is this?"
but then Connor's immediate reaction is "yo this is mad fancy."

I‘m very surprised about Connor. That man is a wonder. He looks like a young guy, who lives in the internet, but in fact, he‘s literally that guy that would survive on a stranded island by being a planner and an executor, resourceful (sleeping with bad gear without being dramatic, instead staying very calm and solutionoriented), careful towards nature and other human beings (digging a hole for no. 2, not taking his inner frustration out on other people).
He was excited about a nice camping trip, was brought into an unexpected situation, could foresee by one look at the equipment, what will await them, and dealt everything with grace and kindness. Incredible.

Those were seriously the thinnest sleeping bags I have ever seen. I did not even know there were sleeping bags that thin. They definitely should have linked tents or shared. It would have been warmer.

I think this episode made it clear who (out of the three) you would want to be trapped on a deserted island with... Connor hands down.
