It's great to be back! And boy do we have quite the epic journey for you on this one. Natsuki and I grab a couple of rucksacks and head deep into the mountains of central japan, down the legendary Nakasendo mountain path.

I'm sad to hear that your outdoor content doesn't do as well as other stuff, because this is the aspect of Japan I find the most appealing. Folks get so enamored with Tokyo they forget that Japan is full of natural beauty. Anime and games and modern Japan are all great, I like those too, but I love the history and countryside so much more. Thank you for showing this, this is very much going into consideration for a segment of my next trip, maybe even the centerpiece depending on how well I can train up my cardio, and I hope you continue to produce outdoor content showcasing things outside the cities.

I don't speak for everyone because I watch all your videos eventually, but this video was amazing and had me wishing I was there hiking it with you guys. Literally any video with you and Natsuki is a treat to watch, because it just feels like 2 friends hanging out.

Honestly can’t tell you how much I love this sort of content, makes me forget everything negative going on in the world and weirdly helps with my mental health. Also gives me insane nostalgia to when I first found your channel 6 years ago and binged your all your journey across Japan videos in one night. Hopefully can look forward to more like this 🙏.

Usually a silent viewer here but please continue making outdoor content videos! These types of videos were one of my biggest reasons why I subscribed in the first place and it's always a treat when you do upload them. I never heard of this mountain path before and hope to visit in the future. The world needs more content on the natural beauty of Japan!

Please never give up on the long form content, Chris! This video is an absolute treat on a Saturday morning, and encounters like that of Owaki-san are always a joy to see!
